A beautifully restored 1930s warehouse venue, Nudo offers couples the opportunity to host an industrial-chic event in the heart of Brunswick. Features include luscious greenery, exposed beams and concrete floors.

Down a quiet laneway in Brunswick East, you’ll find one of Melbourne’s oldest Wool Mills with exposed brick walls, and soaring saw-toothed ceilings. Set over two levels this industrial-chic warehouse allows your guests to come on a journey through different spaces and experiences.

The upper level looks out over the double-height main space with exposed timber beams and concrete floors. Our gorgeous, sun-filled ceremony room will wow your friends and family with the added benefit that your ceremony and reception is all held in the same space.

We also provide a full-scale wedding planning service for no extra cost than if you were to source the supplier’s yourselves. Our package includes the venue, a wedding planner, catering, drinks, music, photographer, flowers, hair & makeup, invitations, celebrant, guest favours and more.

Our in-house catering is provided by Refresh Hospitality, we've been working closely with Refresh to develop some all-inclusive packages designed specifically for the Wool Mill. These packages include all food and beverage, wait and bar staff, cutlery, crockery, glassware and kitchen equipment.


To celebrate the impending opening of the Wool Mill we are running a special promotion with Refresh for the next three months.

Can we remove items from your package?

We are confident we’ve put a great team together, however we understand you may have your own contacts you would like to have involved in your wedding day (eg. you may have a makeup artist or a celebrant you love and just have to use, or a friend who wants to help you out). If that’s the case, let us know and we will provide you with a quote that factors this in.

Do you allow BYO food and drinks?

Yes, we do. We do have an amazing in-house caterer but you are free to bring your own if you wish at no extra cost. You can bring just your own food or just your own drinks or both. It’s up to you.

Does the package go up in price if I have more than 80 guests?

Our base wedding package is built for 80 guests. For numbers above 80 there may be a slight increase in cost for some items like printing of extra invitations, additional cake, floral arrangements for the tables and supplying additional guest favours, but we will keep these as minimal as we can.

What is your curfew?

Our curfew on Fri / Sat is midnight. So, this means we’d call last drinks at 10.45pm for an 11pm close of drinks. This then gives us an hour to slowly wrap up and get guests thinking about leaving. Music would also need to wind down at 11pm.

Does the venue have heating / cooling?

Yes, we have both!

We had an absolutely perfect wedding day at the Woolshed! Everything went so smoothly and everyone had so much fun! Our guests are still raving about what a great wedding it was. Thank you to all the staff at the Woolshed for a wonderful day!

I could not recommend The Woolshed more for a reception venue! From our very first point of contact, our experience with the team was fantastic. Hannah, the events coordinator, is a wonder to work with and went above and beyond to make our dream wedding come true. The food was outstanding (we had alternate drop entree and main with a grazing table to start) and everything went off without a hitch thanks to all the great staff behind the scenes. The Woolshed is such a versatile space and we were really able to make it our own with the styling. We all had the best time and I can't thank you guys enough!!

Our experience at The Woolshed yallah was amazing from the get go . We visited alot of wedding venues and by far the woolshed was the most accommodating and we fell in love with the warm, cosy environment straight away. We were welcomed by all the staff who were kind, professional and more than helpful throughout the whole experience. Everything ran smoothly and our guests had nothing but positive things to say. The food was AMAZING ❤️ Very highly recommended.
