Hi there. Can we get a basic idea of who goes on what tables at the reception? Is there an “order” to who sits closest to the front and the bridal table? Would love some ideas for groupings. Thanks.

Hi All, We are having a cocktail style reception (no sit down dinner) for our wedding. The ceremony starts at 3pm, reception starting at 4pm for 4 hours (8pm). My question is what would be the order of events for the reception? There is no garter or bouquet toss, I'm giving my bouquet to my grandma. My thought is, 415pm introductions > 430pm toasts and speeches > 5pm bouquet to grandma > 515pm cake cutting > 530pm first dances > 6pm party dancing > 745 send off > 8pm end. Does that seem ok? Or do you suggest something different? Thanks!

Hello! I am looking for an estate in Queensland that would be suitable for a wedding ceremony and reception. I would like to be able to have tee-pee tents set up on a grassed section for guests to glamp in the evening also. Struggling to find a suitable location. I would prefer an outdoor ceremony and reception however I'll look at all options. Recommendations would be appreciated!

I have done a mountain of research and the calculations people provide leave us with a figure of about $10k but then when people who have been married make comment it is far less. I just need a realistic figure to put in our budget. We are looking into having the reception as a gin distillery so their drinks are a little pricier but they haven't officially opened yet so I don't have them. Thanks!
