It’s roundup time. We published so many beautiful weddings this year and it honestly pains us to exclude any of them. But after much debate, here are 12 of the best Real Weddings from 2021.
Rocking Good Fun: Tooraloo Farmstay Wedding, Byron Bay
The epitome of CHILLED OUT, Lauren and Andrew’s wedding was held at quaint rustic wedding venue, Byron Bay Magical Tooraloo Farmstay. All the emotions were on display, captured masterfully by photographer Sam Wyper, and not to mention the FUN.
What we loved:
- Vows under the venue’s magnificent fig tree
- Festival vibe with a folk band, hay bales and zero seating plan
- Lauren’s backless Rue De Seine gown and wide-brim fedora
- Midnight splash in the onsite swimming pool!

Self-confessed ‘city slickers’ Marina and Carl paid homage to their hometown Melbourne with a Big Apple twist when they wed at Metropolis Events. The lofty ceilings and city skyline views created a New York-style backdrop while Melbourne Entertainment Co rocked the party atmosphere.
What we loved:
- Marina’s traditional arrival to the orthodox chapel in an Always Classic Cars white Rolls Royce.
- Her custom-designed sheer sleeve, belted-waist, wedding gown by Oglio-Loro Couture
- Romantic and timeless blush and white styling with fresh blooms everywhere

We were swooning over Brenton’s 3-metre long sparkly cape back then and we’re just as taken with it today. The Sydney couple were married by Rita O’Reilly Divine Celebrancy in a ‘secret garden’ daytime ceremony at Camden wedding venue, Burnham Grove Estate.

Onto local Greek restaurant Altanero, guests were transported to the cobbled streets of Santorini for a lively celebration filled with delicious fare.

Transformed into a Disneyesque ballroom of dazzling chandeliers and spring blooms, you’d never guess that bride Bianca, wearing a figure-hugging Steven Khalil gown, was up for scaling Sydney’s city rooftops to get the perfect shot.

- Lebanese drummer entrance escorting the newlyweds through the magnificent floral arch

Their back-to-back wedding ceremonies held over a single wedding weekend could not have been any more different. Larishna and Priyank’s multi-celebration wedding began with a traditional Hindu ceremony exploding in colour, followed by a classic black tie church ceremony, and culminating in a rustic heritage-style reception at Sunnybrae Estate.
