What's your favourite destination?

I adore Vietnam. The incredible culture, stunning beaches and food I could happily eat every day. It's vibrant, feel-good and unforgettable.

Favourite wedding moment

I'll never forget being part of a vibrant Indian wedding overseas. The colours, the music, the traditions. Watching the couple honour their roots in a dreamy destination setting was magical.

Outside of Work

I'm a bit of a cocktail nerd. I love discovering hidden bars and trying fun, fruity concoctions served with flair.

What I tell nervous couples

Take a deep breath. You're in great hands. Planning overseas can feel big, but we'll guide you step by step so you can relax and enjoy the ride.

What's your favourite destination?

Personally, my favourite Destination for a Wedding is Bali! BUT I am Biased as I got married there myself in 2024 and it was pure magic - the people, the locations, the food - THE FIREWORKS!

Favourite wedding moment

I have to say, I love a "first look" the intimate moment between the couple seeing each other for the first time on their Wedding day. The tears, the emotion, the laughter and all the love!

Outside of Work

Unrelated to Weddings - I am such a coffee snob, very Melbournian of me I know! If you don't make my coffee right you best believe I will bring it back to be remade (I am that girl)

What I tell nervous couples

DO IT! Coming from someone who has had a Destination Wedding myself - there is absolutely nothing like it. Memories you and your guests will hold onto forever. Trust me, years on and all of my guests STILL talk about it - Best wedding ever apparently ;)

What's your favourite destination?

I would say Thailand. I love the culture, the wedding styles and the dreamy backdrop every wedding creates. Whether its on a clifftop facing the never ending horizon of water or on the beach - Thailand is one of the most picturesque locations.

Favourite wedding moment

Its the blending of families, its not one special moment, but every time i see two different families, sometimes hardly knowing each other - to completely becoming best friends, sharing stories, jumping into photo booths together and having the time of their lives because of the almost 'mini holiday' theyve just spent together.

Outside of Work

I am a DIY Queen - there is not a craft or hobby i dont look at and think - if someones done it, why cant I!

What I tell nervous couples

Get involved in the culture of the place you're getting married in - those cultural quirks, dancers, celebration styles - its what makes your wedding the most memorable experience for you and your guests. You chose to get married overseas, why not make it apart of your day

What's your favourite destination?

Ayana Bali is my favourite venue in Bali as it sits atop the dramatic limestone clifftops, and four stunning luxury resorts all-in-one; the options are endless with 180-degree views of the ocean and sunsets.

Favourite wedding moment

My husband and I met in our old apartment building (I rented my parking space to him). On the day of our wedding, we had our wedding car drive to the front of the building where we met so that we could recreate the photo of us that we took when we moved out and into our first place together!

Outside of Work

I LOVE a good op-shop or hike/run outdoors on the weekends. Oh! And I'm obsessed with my dog.

What I tell nervous couples

Once you have your date and venue booked, you can rest and relax. The key thing to remember is: you don’t have to figure it all out at once, and you don’t have to do it alone.

Taylah Grainger, Destination Weddings Sales Specialist

Destination Weddings Sales Specialist

What's your favourite destination?

Thailand is a favourite. The people are so welcoming, the scenery is breathtaking and the venues really know how to deliver a show-stopping celebration.

Favourite wedding moment

One of the most touching things I've seen is a groom reading his vows to the bride's son. He promised to love and protect him too. There wasn't a dry eye in the room.

Outside of Work

On weekends you'll find me reading in quiet corners, exploring local wine bars or heading out for a coastal walk to recharge.

What I tell nervous couples

You don't have to figure this out alone. We're here to guide you, advocate for you and make the whole experience feel fun and empowering.

What's your favourite destination?

Definitely Bali. Even with a little traffic, there's no place like it. The people, culture and nature are all so rich. You can feel the magic in the air.

Favourite wedding moment

When the bride walks down the aisle and the groom tears up. It's intimate and real, and after all the planning, that emotion is what makes it all worth it.

Outside of Work

Before back-to-back weddings, I need something spicy to wake me up. Sambal is life.

What I tell nervous couples

Trust your wedding planner. Enjoy the process and don't stress about the details. We've got it covered, and your only job is to soak in every beautiful moment.

Lavinia George-Veale, Wedding Venue Specialist

Lavinia George-Veale

Wedding Venue Specialist

Three years in the events world, spanning weddings and corporate events. Weddings have always had her heart — now focused purely on beautiful celebrations across the UK and abroad.

What's your favourite destination?

Italy. You simply can’t go wrong with an Italian wedding. There’s a breathtaking view around every corner, the weather is (usually!) on your side, the people are warm and welcoming - and the food? Nothing compares. It’s romance, sunshine and pasta all rolled into one.

Favourite wedding moment

At a family wedding one summer in the UK, we had a beautiful outdoor reception with a marquee - until the heavens suddenly opened. We all sprinted inside, completely drenched in satin dresses, ruined hair and makeup...the lot! It turned into one of the funniest, most memorable moments of the day.

Outside of Work

I have a miniature dachshund called Bridget Bones, and yes - she absolutely lives up to the name. We go everywhere together, and she’s even made a few very important site visits to wedding venues in London. Quality control, obviously.

What I tell nervous couples

Planning your wedding should feel exciting - not overwhelming. It’s one of the rare times in life where you both get to design something completely your way. While planning abroad can feel a little more complex, it doesn’t have to be stressful. That’s exactly what I’m here for - to make the entire journey feel smooth, supported and genuinely enjoyable, from your first idea to your final dance.

What's your favourite destination?

The Dolomites in autumn. The colours are unreal, and everything feels still, like the world pauses for a second.

Favourite wedding moment

For me, it's the eye contact between the couple at either end of the aisle, it gives me goosebumps every single time.

Outside of Work

My pronunciation can absolutely be something to laugh about, It keeps things interesting to say the least.

What I tell nervous couples

As a recovering people pleaser, I get how hard it is to block out opinions. But this is your life, your relationship, your story. Do what feels right for you both not what’s easiest, not what keeps everyone quiet. The people who truly love you will show up, wherever you are.

Spain! I might be biased since I'm Spanish. Great food, great weather, gorgeous locations!

Favourite wedding moment

I was the flower girl at my godfather's wedding when I was a kid, but my parents got lost on our way to the church so we got in really late and the ceremony had already started!

Outside of Work

I've been playing tennis since I was 4...I'm still a terrible player.

What I tell nervous couples

I would tell them that I know if feels complicated, but we're here to guide them through the entire process as we've done with many couples before.

What's your favourite destination?

Bali is my favourite destination. The incredible food, relaxed nature, beautiful villas and lush jungle backdrops. There are so many amazing suppliers and styling options to match every vision.

Favourite wedding moment

I'm a crier. Watching a groom look at his bride as she walks down the aisle gets me every single time.

Outside of Work

I'm a busy mama of two girls. Most weekends I'm adventuring, beach hopping or squeezing in quiet time with a great book.

What I tell nervous couples

We've done this hundreds of times. We'll support you through every decision, change and detail. The journey will be exciting, not overwhelming.

What's your favourite destination?

Fiji is one of my favourite destinations. It is easily accessible from Australia, naturally stunning, and the warmth and kindness of the local people make every wedding feel relaxed, welcoming, and truly special.

Favourite wedding moment

I once watched a couple see their reception space for the first time after months of planning from afar. They went quiet, then hugged and teared up because it was exactly how they had imagined it. It was such a powerful reminder of why the details matter.

Outside of Work

I love live music and have been to over 150 concerts! If I am not planning weddings, you will usually find me at a show or planning my next trip.

What I tell nervous couples

It is completely normal to feel unsure about planning from afar. My role is to guide you through every decision, keep everything clear and organised, and ensure a smooth handover to our onsite team who will bring it all to life. You are never doing it alone, even from a distance.

Fiji is one of my favorite destination because it combines breathtaking scenery with warm hospitality and is the perfect setting for a romantic beachfront wedding.

Favourite wedding moment
