Who doesn’t love a soppy and thoroughly romantic wedding video – especially one filmed by a dog?
When Marshall Burnette married long-time love Addie at the top of Tennessee’s snow-covered Roan Mountain in November 2014, their wedding video was shot from a most unique angle, that of their beloved pooch, Ryder.
The couple strapped a GoPro onto Ryder’s back and had her ‘shoot’ their entire wedding day from her perspective. Viewers are given an intimate view of the couple’s special day, from the morning when the bride arrives for breakfast and greets Ryder through to the wedding reception, which was held at their home that same evening.
What type of stone is your engagement ring?
Of course, we also see the couple and their rugged-up guests arrive for the wedding ceremony, which was held at the top of the mountain where Marshall and Addie met 10 years earlier.
The video, called GoPro: Our Snowy Wedding (from our dog’s perspective) is fun – and truly intimate, taken from Ryder’s floor-high perspective during the moments of their day most guests would never see.
“On November 2nd, 2014, Addie and I got married on the top of Roan Mountain, TN in 2 feet of snowy wonder,” writes Marshall on his YouTube channel.
“It was cold and magical. Our dog, Ryder, insisted on filming the wedding video, so we let her do her thing. She took awhile to edit the footage, but we think she did a great job.”
She sure did!
