The Royal Adelaide Golf Club was built in 1906, and much of its original character is still present. Will the Event Manager be with us on the day of our wedding?

Lisa, our Events Manager is with you from the start of your wedding planning journey right through to meeting you when you arrive at the Club, making sure everything is as you had envisaged it to be and then, once you are seated for dessert (or after formalities if you're having a cocktail wedding), she will leave you in the capable hands of our Supervisor.

Can I mix up the format of my wedding?

Absolutely! In fact we would love it if you did! We feel that having a roaming entree and/or dessert, along with a seated main course, gives guests the chance to mingle more and get in the wedding mood rather than being restricted to their table for the bulk of the evening.  Why not also consider shared platters for your main course - giving your big day a really 'feasty' feel!

If you are wanting a coordinator that will go above and beyond and who will pretty much hold your hand the whole way through your wedding journey then Lisa at the Royal Adelaide Golf club is your gal. From the moment we walked into the venue and met Lisa we knew straight away that was our venue. I am one of the lucky brides that was able to go ahead with our wedding this year but still was the most stressful year of my life! I reckon I would have emailed Lisa every couple days on a weekly basis leading up to the wedding and she was just so fantastic she always responded and was so understanding and patient with me :) Highly highly recommend The Royal Adelaide Golf club

Lisa was Amazing to work with and went above and beyond to help us with everything at the venue! She many appointments going over things with us, sending pictures and emails to make sure our day was perfect & stress-free, even working out the schedule to fit in with the photographers. The venue was so beautiful! We had use of heaps of golf buggies to drive our bridal party and videographers/photographers around on the day. The lawn games and putt putt were great fun for all the guests during drinks & canapés, while we were having photos. The staff were fantastic on the night and always really helpful and friendly at all of our visits leading up to the event. Everyone raved about the food on the night too, delicious! Thanks RAGC.

We were married at the RAGC in January 2019 and I can't recommend this venue enough. It was a perfect location, amazing food and service with the event manager Lisa and the RAGC going above and beyond to make planning our wedding easy! The scenery at the RAGC was amazing and we were able to have lots of wonderful photo opportunities and the reception area has lots of natural light and a wonderful view.
