From the very beginning our dedicated wedding coordinator provides you with all the tools, knowledge and support you need to ensure your wedding planning is a fun experience you both enjoy sharing in together.
When the special day arrives all you need to do is enjoy your romantic ceremony bubble, delicious food and wine and dance the night away with your loved ones - we have the rest covered.
Our stunning wedding venue has a choice of ceremony locations, all with picturesque scenery of our beautiful region, as far as the eye can see.
The perfect backdrop for capturing the intimate moment you say 'I do'.
Imagine the fun your guests will have after the ceremony as they enjoy tantalising canapes, beverages from our purpose built outdoor bar and even playing Ekhidna's own lawn games.
We can accommodate wedding receptions of up to 200 under cover and with our large open spaces, we can easily cater to a variety of floorplans. We provide everything you need so all you need to think about is decor - and with our included fairy and festoon lighting, not too much is required!
Our incredible team of chefs use only the freshest locally-sourced seasonal produce from the region to compliment our own organically-grown fruits & vegetables.

Hi, my name is Jess, I have recently finished my Bachelor of Business with tourism & event management. There is nothing I love more than seeing couples pick their perfect venue, but most importantly helping them every step of the way through their wedding planning process! Connecting with couples and creating a bond over the period of wedding planning, these couples become Ekhidna family not only through me but all of our wonderful staff that work here at Ekhidna. I would love to meet you!

Yes! We are most definitely pet friendly... any pet is welcome! We want all wedding couples to feel welcome bringing their pets to spend their wedding day alongside them aswell.
Yes! We offer half bottles of our award winning shiraz! These are a great hit, and we take the stress away so you do not need to organise this yourself! This can also be created with a customised label which can include your wedding date or anything you have in mind!

At Ekhidna winery and restaurant we have a beautiful restaurant that over looks the vines to the Mt lofty ranges which would be perfect for your wedding luncheon.
