Chris and Jirada’s elegant Adelaide wedding captured by Mitcha Photography & Film

After a decade of building a beautiful life together, Chris and Jirada celebrated their commitment with an elegant, culturally rich wedding in Adelaide.

The day began with a deeply emotional ceremony at St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Thebarton, where Jirada walked down the aisle supported by her two sons, who also stepped up as groomsmen for Chris. Following the service, the bridal party escaped to the National Wine Centre for photographs before joining 190 guests at the Cyprus Community Hall for the reception. The venue held immense sentimental value, having hosted numerous family milestones over the years, and provided a warm, familiar setting for the evening’s festivities. Guests enjoyed a relaxed, shared-platter Mediterranean feast by N&B Catering, traditional live music from a Greek band, and a surprise performance by the bride herself, who sang a Greek song dedicated to her new husband.

Central to the seamless execution and styling of the day was Mitcha Photography & Film, who went above and beyond the traditional role of a visual team. “Our photographer was definitely the vendor I would recommend the most,” Jirada shares. “She became so much more than just a photographer throughout the whole journey, helping as a planner, exploring styling ideas, and supporting us from 10am until midnight. They captured so many real, emotional, candid moments that we didn’t even realise were happening at the time. The photos are colourful, natural, and full of life, exactly how I wanted to remember our wedding day .” The romantic atmosphere was enhanced by white rose and orchid installations from GI Floral Design Studio, a minimalist single-tier pearl cake by The Sweet Studio, and bespoke “Love in a Bottle” organic olive oil favours handmade by the bride to fuse their Greek, Cypriot, and Thai heritages.
