Hi, I'm Shannon. I'm a Sydney-based celebrant that specialises in crafting beautiful wedding ceremonies that are personal, genuine, heartfelt and unique. I am very passionate about capturing and presenting the personalities of the couples I work with and with each of the ceremonies I perform, I go above and beyond to ensure your ceremony is true to you and your partner.
Based in Sydney, I have a ton of experience crafting personalised wedding ceremonies for a diverse array of couples, taking into account their individual personalities, requests for special readings, I work hard to customise every ceremony I have the pleasure of writing, perfectly capturing the essence of each unique and individual relationship.
Whatever mood or tone you’d like to set for your wedding, the ceremony is the place to do it....and I have the qualities and creative flair to make your ceremony, uniquely you. During our first chat together (usually on Zoom/free one-hour consultation) we will discuss the type of day you envisage; formal and sophisticated, quirky and full of laughter or sweet and sentimental. Shannon was such a delight! We ended up eloping during June 2020 and Shannon was super supportive the whole way as our plans changed with restrictions. He really personalised the ceremony and it was incredibly intimate, special and everything we could have asked for in a wedding. Shannon was also very collaborative and worked with us to make sure our day was as special as possible - even if smaller than we originally anticipated!
Carl and I were married in May last year - right in the middle of the COVID pandemic! This had such a detrimental impact on our special day, however Shannon our amazing Celebrant made our day such a magical wonderful day, we honestly cannot speak highly enough of his professionalism and wonderfully caring nature. Our initial meeting with Shannon we knew he was the right person to tell our story and he did that absolutely beautifully, the guests we had expressed how beautiful the ceremony was - not to lengthy just the perfect about of time. Shannon guided us throughout the process and made everything so easy all we had to do is enjoy it, he also gave some wonderful ideas on the day which we did and are so grateful for it. Shannon was absolutely wonderful helping us plan and write our wedding ceremony. My husband Jack and I got married in December last year right after Covid was finally starting to settle down. Shannon was so easy to deal with, and we were able to email or call whenever we needed help. We had a few videochats to help plan our special day. Positive experience from the get go. Shannon made the celebrant process very easy for us, sent all the required forms before our wedding and was happy to answer phone calls and help whenever needed. The civil ceremony process went really well and Shannons voice is very engaging for the audience.
