3. Secure your date.
Pay just 50% to secure your booking, with the remaining balance due one month before your wedding.
Then… that’s it!
On your wedding day, we’ll meet you at your chosen location anywhere in Sydney or the Sutherland Shire, perform your legal marriage ceremony, and you’ll walk away married.

Kathleen O’Grady is a marriage celebrant, MC and former Qantas international flight attendant of nearly 30 years. With almost 10 years’ experience as a celebrant, she creates relaxed, heartfelt weddings across Sydney. She’s also a singer, wedding planner and supports NextSense charity. Kathy loves people, love stories and helping couples celebrate simply. She also co-hosts the podcast “2 Unhinged” about life, love and chaos.

You simply book online and choose a time for a quick Zoom meeting. On the call, we complete your legal paperwork (NOIM) and answer any questions. Once confirmed, we secure your date with a 50% deposit, with the remaining 50% due one month prior to your wedding. On the day, we meet you at your chosen location anywhere in Sydney or the Sutherland Shire and perform your ceremony.
The $495 (incl. GST) includes your Zoom meeting, all legal paperwork preparation, and your marriage ceremony on the day. We also lodge your marriage documents with Births, Deaths & Marriages after your wedding. Everything is taken care of from start to finish.
We come to you anywhere in Sydney and the Sutherland Shire. You can choose your own meaningful location such as a beach, park, backyard, or private venue.
The legal ceremony itself is simple and relaxed and usually takes around 10 minutes. The focus is on making it meaningful, easy, and stress-free while still covering all legal requirements.
Yes. Once your Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) is submitted and the legal one-month waiting period has passed, we can marry you as soon as you’re ready. We also offer flexible weekday and weekend availability.
Yes. Australian law requires two witnesses over the age of 18 to be present at your ceremony. You can bring your own witnesses, and you’re welcome to invite as many guests as you like. If you don’t have witnesses available, we can provide them for a small additional cost.
Absolutely. You can have as many guests as you like — from just the two of you and your witnesses, to a small group of family and friends, or even up to 150 guests or more. We tailor the ceremony to suit your day. The only legal requirement is two witnesses over 18.

Our process is simple, relaxed and personal — with Zoom paperwork, flexible locations, and a celebrant-led ceremony. It’s the legal marriage without the queues, restrictions or formal registry office setting.
After COVID, I took some time away from weddings and realised how much I truly missed being part of people’s special days. Over the years, one message has always stood out from couples — they just want to get married in a simple, stress-free way. That’s why I created OZELOPE — to make the process quick, easy, and affordable, and to focus entirely on what matters most: the couple and their love story.
Yes — all of the photos on our website and easy weddings are real weddings I have personally conducted. I have been a marriage celebrant for nearly 10 years and have officiated over 300 weddings across Sydney, interstate, and overseas. I believe a ceremony is never about the celebrant — it is about the couple, their love, and their moment, and that is exactly how it should be captured and celebrated.
I have been a marriage celebrant for almost 10 years and have had the privilege of being part of hundreds of weddings during that time. I have received industry recognition and awards between 2018 and 2022 for my work as a celebrant, MC, and wedding planner. After COVID, I took some time away from weddings, but realised how much I missed being part of such special moments. That’s what inspired me to create OZELOPE — a simple, affordable way for couples to get married without stress, and to keep the focus exactly where it should be: on the couple and their love.
