How long does my DJ need to setup

We arrive at least hour before the event and are generally fully setup within 20-30 mintues. However we arrive earlier for venues that may have diffcult bump in or for additonal packages and equipment that has been requested

What does our DJ require for setup?

For events the DJ will need access to a powerpoint. If your venue is also able to supply a trestle type table that is great but if not thats ok as we have our own

How do we organise the music for our special moments

We work with you to ensure that the music for your special moments is organised and that we commuicate over any finer details. We like to send through a music template that we have put together which gives couples a guide of some of the songs that they will need on their special day which some our couples find easier to directly fill out this templetate and send it back to us or others use this as a guide to put their own document together and we are extremely flexible with both.

Sydney Disc Jockey, a family business with DJ Eric starting as a professional DJ back in the 90's. With his love of DJ'ing and being the best of the best this only meant one thing - pass it on in the family which is where DJ Jess learnt to be an amazing DJ. At only 12 years old she started with kids parties and 9 years later she is up there with large high corporate events and weddings. Sydney Disc Jockeys are highly experienced and dedicated DJ's, I Eric G have over 20 Years Experience for all types of mobile DJ Events and I've also worked in nightclubs. We have a point of difference ... an exceptionally talented young Female DJ Jessica as over 8 years Experience.

We are very professional and specialise in high end corporate events and particlarly weddings

We enjoyed what we do and we do not use any sub-contractors.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

I've been a DJ for well over 20 years and I have a telecommunications background so I make sure my equipment and sound quality is the best in class ... I am very particular. DJ Jess has 9 years experience as a DJ , but can work the mic to get the party started. We are two hard working professionals who are dedicated to ensuring that our clients and their guests are having a great time....We always raise the bar and take our functions to the next level.

What do you include in your services

Our DJ Packages are fully inclusive of all sound equipment speakers wireless mics and we also have beautiful lights -we dont charge extra for these - this is part of our standard package

Do you travel outside greater Sydney?

Absolutetly ! We travel and have done events in the Hunter Valley Region, Illawara , Southern Highlands, Central Coast, Blue Mountains, Suttons Forest, Central West NSW. For some areas travel fees may apply but give us a call and we are more than happy to dicsuss :)

Are we able to meet our DJ prior to our wedding ?

Yes we meet our clients prior to our weddings and encourage this as it gives us a great opputurnity to get to know you and your requirements for your day. We meet our clients eiether face to face or do meetings via Zoom .

Jess helped with the music throughout our wedding from the ceremony to the end of the night. She had great suggestions and helped us go through planning music to fit each part of the day, it worked as the dance floor was never empty the entire evening. Jess was very friendly and a joy to have there on the day, she was organised bringing all the equipment and setting up so everything was done without us having to worry at all. We would recommend Jess to anyone looking for a DJ for an event or wedding.

"We got in touch with Josephine for Celebrant/MC/DJ package. Josephine as a Celebrant and MC helped us made our special day, everything that we could dream of. She made a stressful part of Wedding planning so easy. She was very communicative whenever we have any questions. We had DJ Jess and she certainly knows how to turn the party up. We had Eric for our wedding last year and we were blown away by his professionalism and service from beginning to end. He made the process quite easy and was always available for any questions we had during the lead up to the big day (even the night before!). Eric was able to create a fun and energetic atmosphere with his great selection of music, while also incorporating parts of our cultures and favourite songs. We had the best time partying and creating memories with our guests. The dance floor was always buzzing and everyone had a great time. I don't think there was a moment where the dance floor was empty. We still get compliments to this day about how fun our wedding was and about the fantastic music played to create such a party. We cannot thank Eric enough and would definitely recommend him for any event.

What's the best way to incorporate Greek and English music at our reception?

Hi there. My partner is Greek, and I'm Aussie, and our guest list reflects roughly half and half. Wanting to ensure both cultures are represented and have a great time. How best to include music for each so everyone has fun?

How much are travel fees for wedding bands/djs?

G'day. We're currently tossing up between a city wedding and a destination wedding in the country. Wondering how much wedding bands/djs charge to travel (and if they even want to?) How far are they willing to travel for a wedding? Thanks!

Hi we love destination weddings and do them all the time - we generally make sure we cover the cost of a nights accomodation , cover Tolls and Petrol so we just include in our price . Generally we travel up to a few hours drive away to areas such a sthe Hunter Valley , Kangaroo Valley and other gorgeous places. Always happy to chat about locations so just message us :)
