Absolutely!  It's really important to check your band out live and to ensure the people you see are the same members who will be performing at  your wedding.  Boutique have live showcases every 3 weeks at a studio in Burwood.  Just fill in the contact form to book your place or get in touch with us by phone or email.

This largely comes down to 2 factors - space (at the venue where the band will play) and cost.  Even really large venues sometimes still have just a small space for the band so be really careful with this.  You don't want the guitarist virtually sitting in Aunty Joan's lap! 

The sound of the duo is actually huge, so this is not a factor.  If you're having a wedding on a tighter budget, with a duo, you not only are paying for just 2 members (& don't forget travel costs of a large band if your wedding is regional), but even things like crew meals, need to be considered.  Are you happy paying for 7 band members dinner?  These are all factors to consider when deciding between a full band, trio or duo - but the sound is not one of them!  Our duo performed to 10,000 people on NYE2013 so size is not a factor when it comes to entertainment. More is not necessarily better.  In this case you are way better off paying for quality, not quantity!

We don't look at  a clock because believe us when we say, we'd rather be up singing and entertaining your guests, than sitting around.  For the sake of indication though, we aim for 4 x 45 minute sets.  After 45 minutes we need a break, which is only as long or as short as the formalities take.  We include at least 1 set of acoustic dinner music, followed by as much dance music as the time allows.

Yes!  This is a complimentary service.  We have MC'd at many weddings and are extremely confident in helping run the show so one of your guests don't have to.  Rebecca is an extremely competent public speaker and easily gains the attention of rowdy crowds that may need to be hushed for speeches, whilst keeping her relaxed and upbeat vibe at all times!  We provide everything you need, including a wireless microphone for speeches.  We are also very happy to assist you in planning and designing your run sheet for the night to ensure that things run smoothly plus to maximise your dancing time.

Absolutely we can.  We are professional musicians and are happy to take your requests.  We do however limit it to 3 songs only because our songlist is so immense that we are sure that's all you'll need.
