Capturing life stories through photography, resulting in a collection of beautiful memories & moments!
Images that are heartfelt, natural & full of joy.
Creative | Timeless |Heartfelt
Weddings are all about storytelling, lots of small moments that make up a collection of photos that show how the day unfolds. And I absolutely love it....all of the anticipation, love, laughter and tears.
I have spent many years capturing life stories for a living...there is nothing more rewarding to me than being able to give clients beautiful visual memories that will be cherished and looked at over & over again. I think even when I am 90 I will still want to take photos and tell stories! On a wedding day there are so many heartfelt moments of love & joy between couples as well as with family & friends, I find myself smiling alot as I click the shutter.
My style is heartfelt, authentic, true colour & artistic. For couples portraits and bridal party photos I use gentle directions to help evoke genuine expressions in a relaxed, fun way resulting in beautiful, natural images. It is important to me that clients remember not only what the day looked like, but what it felt like.
If you’re looking for a friendly, Professional Perth & Mandurah Wedding Photographer to capture all of it….the details, portraits, family photos, candids and inbetween moments, you’re absolutely in the right place.
It really is what I love doing most - helping you tell your love story.
Get in touch, I'd love chat!

What to expect:
Creative - One of the most important things I have to offer you as a wedding photographer is my creative 'eye' and how I see and anticipate moments through the lens. I capture the day with an artistic eye and a flair for composition & storytelling combined with skillful use of lenses, natural light and flash.
Timeless - I leave my clients with a gallery beautiful true colour images that tell the story of their unique wedding day that will be looked at for generations to come. Modern filters can be appealing but invariably will date over time.
Heartfelt - I love heartfelt moments and I am on the look out for them the entire wedding day. Of course walking down the aisle, first kiss, cake cut, wedding dance etc are all key moments, but there are so many other things occuring - a dad seeing his daughter in her dress for the first time, mum helping a son with his tie, a nanna's hugs in the congratulations and so many more. They make my heart smile and I love capturing them all.
"Thank you so much Trish for being the one to capture all the special moments on our special day. You were so amazing to work with by being so organised, relaxed and graceful that it made our day just that so much easier. We could see and feel that every photo was taken with so much thought and strategy that even the pictures you released the day after looked so amazing and professional that we feel so lucky to have you and we wouldn't have wished to have anyone else" Skye C.

Most good wedding photographers have an incredibly creative eye, years of experience, a huge variety of professional lenses, backup camera’s (with dual card slots) and know how to (and when to) use their flash. They also know how to tell the overall wedding day story. If you are wanting night images and well lit first dance and reception images, they need to know how to work their flash system well Basically your photographer needs to be skilled and capable to adapt to any scenario and you need to be able to trust that they will beautifully capture your wedding story. Check their reviews, websites, instagram & facebook and any memberships (I am a member of the AIPP which means I have passed an accreditation process, maintain industry standards and continuing professional development).
Secondly, love their style……look at their whole online folio, there should be a lot of variety of weddings as well as images from various times and sections of the day. There should also be a consistency to their photography & editing style. Every photographer is different and would capture your day in a different way depending on their creative eye.
Be sure to meet up with photographers and make sure you actually like them (personality wise)….you have to spend a lot of time with them on the day. And lastly read through the packages to make sure you know what you are getting & read through the contract before signing - which should outline timeframe for delivery of images, booking fee policy, unexpected events (ie. if the photographer is unable to photograph your wedding due to illness or accident), dates for final payments, and other responsibilities of each party. Also the extent of editing (post processing and editing are two different things) and whether permission is given for images to be shared by the photographer on social media and websites and with other vendors.
