We are a Sydney based wedding planning service dedicated to producing extraordinary weddings. ?

Established in 2017, Emily Jean Events brings over 3 years of wedding and event industry experience.

We offer a personalised approach to each and every client with an open mind. We communicate with you every step of the way, we are transparent and honest and live up to our values.

Planning a wedding, no matter how big or small, can be quite stressful and often overwhelming, especially if it's not your thing. Emily Jean Events takes care of everything. We work with you to execute your vision and ensure a stress free process. 

Whether you have a 500 guest wedding or an intimate celebration - we will make your wedding day one to remember. 

We offer two types of wedding planning services - Full wedding planning and partial wedding planning. Each of these services provides you with your own dedicated wedding planner who will work and communicate with you throughout the whole process.

After your first consultation your wedding planner will invite you to log in to your client portal where  you will see information about your wedding while keeping track of the progress. Too often many brides are left hanging and stressed after hiring a wedding planner, this is mainly due to the inconsistent communication and lack of update on the progress of their wedding. 

Emily Jean Events will provide peace of mind while planning your big day, leaving you with less stress and more freedom.

 As well as weding planning services, we also offer on the day coordination services. What is this you ask? On the day coordination is managing the logistics of they day and ensuring everyone knows where they're meant to be, what they're meant to be doing and when.

Whether it's an intimate wedding ceremony or a 500 guest reception there will always be something that has been overlooked or is uncontrollable.

Emily Jean Events offer on the day coordination services to help with the smooth running of your event. You will have your own dedicated wedding coordinator who will meet with you a month out from your event, go over all the finer details and conduct final confirmations with your vendors.

On the day of your wedding we coordinate the logistics to make sure that all those sleepless nights and months of planning runs exactly how you intend.

Your wedding coordinator will take care of it all, from a month prior to the end of the night.

How do I book you?

First, you'll need to get in touch with us either through email or phone. We'll discuss your wedding, such as the date, location, how many poeople you're expecting and the style you're going for. We will then provide you with a quote and hold your wedding date for 7 days. 
When you decide to go ahead with the quote we book in your date, get a contract signed and send through an invoice for the 25% deposit.  

Once this has been done we schedule an initial consultation and go from there. 

Do I hire a Wedding Planner or a Wedding Coordinator?

If you want to plan your wedding yourself but want someone to come in a month before the day and manage the small details, confirm your vendors and timings and be on site to ensure your wedding day runs as planned, then you would hire a wedding coordinator. 

A wedding planner will work with you about 12 months out from your wedding with the planning, organising and logistics of your wedding day and post wedding celebrations. 

How much is a deposit?

To book your event in with us we require a 25% non refundable deposit. The remaining balance must be paid one month prior to your wedding day.

Do you have flexible payment plans?

Yes, we have flexible payment plans. We accept payments via bank transfer, Visa, Mastercard and AMEX. All card payments will incur a 1.75% merchant fee, this will always be shown on your invoice. Payments are usually paid in installments, a 25% non refundable deposit is required upon booking, 50% is due mid planning and the final 25% is due one month prior to your wedding day. We can be very flexible to suit your needs so let us know upon booking.

How far in advance should I book my Wedding Planner?

The earlier the better! Ideally, you should book your Wedding Planner at least 6-12 months in advance. Any bookings made later than 5-6 months from the wedding date may incur a rush fee, depending on the season.
