Tahnaya Wynne Violinist brings live, personalised music to your ceremony, helping create an atmosphere that feels considered and true to you. Tahnaya can perform as guests arrive, then accompany key moments including the processional, signing of the register and recessional. She works closely with you ahead of the day to refine your song choices and can learn new music where required.
Your reception can also feature live violin during canapés, the grand entrance, dinner, cake cutting, first dance and parent dances. If you’re planning entertainment across the full celebration, Tahnaya also offers a combined violinist and DJ package, pairing live performance with curated DJ music for a smooth, energetic flow throughout the evening.

Hi, I’m Tahnaya! I am a professional violinist, a proud mum to one, a lover of beautiful weddings, long days at the beach, and when the occasion calls for it, a good glass of red wine. I’ve always believed that music has a special way of evoking emotion. It can bring back a memory, make you laugh, give you goosebumps or turn an already incredible moment into something you will never forget.

30 minutes before the the commencement of your ceremony, as guest arrive Tahnaya will play beautiful melodies on the violin to set the mood for a meaningful moment.
The Processional
As you walk down the aisle, Tahnaya will play your chosen song the resonates with you and your partner.
Signing of the register
When you and your partner sign the registry and make it official, it is lovely for your guests to enjoy a little violin performance during this very important part of your ceremony.
1-3 songs is recommended to fill this pocket of time.
The Recessional
You're married! Tahnaya will play a song of your choice as you, the newly married couple, alongside your bridal party, walk back up aisle and exit your ceremony.

I can certainly learn new songs for your special moments such as; your proposal, walking down the aisle, signing the registry, first dance, cutting of the cake or your bridal entrance.
Additional new songs can be learnt at a cost of $150+gst per song.
I will travel anywhere in Australia & Overseas to perform at your event.
Travel within Victoria is included in my price.
Interstate travel outside Victoria will incur a travel fee.
No power? No worries!
I have a state of the art BOSE amplification system with built-in lithium batteries, so YES I can play at your event, no matter where it is. I'll cover this a bit more later, but rain or extreme heat are normally my only concerns at an outdoor event.
Of course! If you are not sure, just let me know the style of music you like, and I will send you some recommendations to choose from. As an experienced musician, I can put together a song list that will be perfect for your event.
I normally arrive at the venue at least half an hour before I'm due to start for an acoustic act or at least one hour before if I am using amplification on the day. This gives me plenty of time to find out where to set up, get all my gear ready and have a quick sound check.
The time to set up and pack down is included in the cost of the package you choose.
Rain can be tricky if you are continuing with your garden ceremony despite the rain. Unfortunately my violin and equipment are not waterproof so I will require shelter if there is rain at your outdoor wedding. If its raining (or likely to rain) I will setup in the closest shelter possible, but if there is no shelter nearby, you risk me being unable to perform for your event. Heat can also be a concern, so if it's an outdoor wedding over 30 degrees I will also require some shade.
