Whoa, you're on fire!
We love your enthusiasm, but that's a lot of enquiries sent today which means a lot of responses coming your way...
Don't worry, you've done nothing wrong but just so that you don't get overwhelmed with suppliers contacting you over the next few days, we limit the number of enquiries you can make per day.
Mr Boutique Entertainment
Hi Caroline,
I'd go against the grain here and not make any suggestions for you. Instead, I'd ask you: what songs do you love?
Weddings have changed so much that we now all expect to put ourselves into the ceremony. We choose a celebrant to reflect ourselves, we write our own vows, we choose the location, the dress and suit, the flowers ... So, why should the music be any different?
Is there a song you both love? Something that makes you both remember a certain period of time together? Something you've both just discovered and could become your song? (It certainly will after you include it in your ceremony!) If you've hired great musicians, they'll be able to perform your choice live for you in an intimate and moving way. It won't sound exactly like the original recording, but that's a good thing because you are unique and the day is unique.
For the rest of the ceremony: let your favourites dictate the music. There's absolutely no reason why you shouldn't!
Cheers,
Tom
