Trained in London by some of the best designers & decorators, Katie creates stunning works of art that taste amazing. All her cakes and cookies are made using traditional recipes and ingredients.

All wedding cake designs are done by Katie. She can lend her skills to any decoration, size and shape - she is doesn't have a set style approach so can accomplish perfect cakes whether vintage, traditional, minimalist, contemporary, intricate or novelty. Trained in floristry to ensure perfect and safe floral decoration.

Semi Naked and Naked floral and fruit decrated wedding cakes
Bomboniere decorated cookies wrapped in a cellophane bag, with a satin ribbon - colour to compliment

Katie was our instant choice in the early investigations for our wedding cake designer. Her professionalism and friendly approach to how she interacts with you, by listening to what your overall theme for your wedding will be, and suggesting recommendations on how she can help compliment her designs into your ideas for the entire evening. The end result, a grand centrepiece forgetting that this is an edible addition to your special day and stands out on its own but naturally flows from entrance, to first dance to the actual cake cutting. Fine tuning based on initial estimate of guests to final RSVP confirmed guests wasn’t a problem and responses and adjustments to cake size and costs provided for the end result were swift and made with ease. Thank you Katie for bring our idea to life and providing an amazing wedding cake. Highly recommend getting in touch with Katie early on in your planning as it will be a stress free interaction.

Katie! Thank you for providing me with the most delicious 2-tiered chocolate mud and coconut sponge cake I have ever tasted! What is the average cost of a cake tasting?

I'm Just wondering what a cake tasting should include if your vendor charges for the experience?

For me as a home baker tastings are done for free but when I am baking the particular cake that a bride is after. So if you order a red velvet cake then the next time I bake a red velvet I do a wee bit extra and make four cupcakes for the bride and groom to try. I let them know and they come and collect and eat for pudding in the comfort of their own home. Kx
