Katie was our instant choice in the early investigations for our wedding cake designer. Her professionalism and friendly approach to how she interacts with you, by listening to what your overall theme for your wedding will be, and suggesting recommendations on how she can help compliment her designs into your ideas for the entire evening. The end result, a grand centrepiece forgetting that this is an edible addition to your special day and stands out on its own but naturally flows from entrance, to first dance to the actual cake cutting. Fine tuning based on initial estimate of guests to final RSVP confirmed guests wasn’t a problem and responses and adjustments to cake size and costs provided for the end result were swift and made with ease. This was the first venue we walked into when searching for our venue and decided right then and there that this was the perfect choice for us. Angela made us feel so welcome from the get go and easily created a partnership vibe we knew would work for us and our guests. Angela was able to work with all our partners with ease turning our vision for the space into a beautiful atmosphere creating our life long memories we will treasure always. Nothing was too difficult and the team Angela picked for us on the night executed the collective vision perfectly. Guests were well feed and hydrated the entire night and we were both taken care of from arrival to departure. A and D are exactly the people who you will feel comfortable to hand the reigns over to after your months of planning and to bring your ideas on a page to life. They are very professional but also fun to work with. They appreciate how time sensitive you are, especially getting closer to the big day, and so research and come prepared for final check in meetings with the lower level detail clarifications and suggestions to make your day that extra bit special you may not have even thought of. The knew the run sheet by heart and any minor hiccups on the day were completely taken care of without any distraction to us or any notice that there was even a hiccup to begin with. Their whole going in approach was 100% assurance we were in safe hands and our day/evening would be spectacular. And it was just that.
