What wedding music do you suggest?

Can't go passed Christina Perri's 'A Thousand Years'. A great wedding song and ideal for a wedding waltz. The Piano Guys do a great instrumental of 'A Thousand Years'.

Pachelbel Canon in D by Pachelbel String Quartet, is noteworthy.

Marry You, Bruno Mars - demonstrates excitement of new love that a marriage brings but probably more suited to the reception.

Traditional Bridal chorus for wedding waltz.

Thinking Out Loud - Ed Sherran

All of Me - John Legend

How Long Will I Love you - Ellie Goulding

Fallin - Alicia Keys

A personal choice of course but for Brides and Grooms, you should start thinking about music you'd like to enter the chapel to; music to be played during the signing of the marriage certificates at the end of the ceremony; first dance music and reception music.

Why did you decide to become a Marriage Celebrant?

A lawyer/ celebrant friend of mine from Melbourne saw me give a presentation and he was quietly impressed. After the presentation, he suggested I become a marriage celebrant too. The rest is history. My work as a lawyer can be a bit dry, so I look forward to the exciting work that weddings will bring.

My first wedding booking is at an old prison turned tourist attraction, whereby the couple have hired out the chapel for their wedding. It's going to be exciting, the couple want true Australian crime incorporated into their ceremony and I look forward to creating the ceremony - a rare and unique opportunity.
