Yes. Janet can travel to weddings in the Blue Mountains, Central Coast and the Southern Highlands, for a fee.

Janet has a brilliant sense of humour and her ceremonies have been described by previous clients as being cheerful, engaging, personal, and heartfelt. Her calming presence and professionalism are what sets her apart from other celebrants.

Do we need to meet with Janet in person before the wedding?

Janet is more than happy to work around your schedule and she can set up online meetings via Zoom or Skype if you’d prefer. Before the wedding day, you can meet with Janet as many times as you’d like.

Firstly, congratulations on your engagement!

Your ceremony should never feel like a script being read by a stranger. It should feel relaxed, personal, full of joy, and leave you wondering where the time went.

When we work together, my job is to make the entire journey feel easy from the moment we first meet until you walk back down the aisle as newlyweds.

Together we'll create a ceremony that's:

Relaxed, heartfelt and sprinkled with plenty of laughter.
Calm and stress-free, so you can simply enjoy every moment.
Filled with the little stories and moments that make your relationship yours.
Remembered just as much by your guests as it is by you.

You don't need to worry about the paperwork, what happens next, or whether you've forgotten something. I'll guide you through every step, help you write your vows if you'd like, answer every question along the way, and make sure you feel completely prepared before the big day arrives.

When your wedding day comes, I'll be there early, helping everyone settle in, calming any last-minute nerves, and making sure everything flows exactly as it should, so all you have to do is soak up every second.

Whether you're planning an intimate ceremony, a big celebration, or something completely unique, we'll create something that feels genuinely like you.

My fee includes all legal paperwork, unlimited support, travel throughout Sydney, and my wedding planning folder with over 30 vow ideas to inspire you.

FAQ

Are the legal requirements complicated, if I am born overseas?

Not at all. All you need to bring to sign The Notice of Intention of Marriage are your passports and another form of photo ID, such as your driving licences or an ID card from the RTA.

Do you have all the documents that are required by law?

Yes, I do have everything here, and will go over it all thoroughly when you visit.

Can I get married next week?

Only if you have already signed The Notice of Intention of Marriage, as it needs to be signed at least one month prior to your wedding ceremony.

Do I have to have witnesses at my wedding ceremony?

Yes, you do have to provide two witnesses, usually one from each side of the family, and they must be at least 18 years of age.

Do you add a travel fee for the Sydney region?

No, everything is included for Sydney, but for the Blue Mountains, Central Coast and the Southern Highlands, I do add a fee.

There are lots of beautiful chapels around Sydney, The Hunter Valley, The Blue Mountains and the Southern Highlands where you can be married, without having any religious feel ~ Just a gorgeous space!

Absolutely they have, but it can be a little bit daunting on the day, so I suggest that your bridesmaid/s either walk with you or just in front of you, so you are not totally alone!
