Morgan and Vlasios met and fell in love in Melbourne, so it made sense that the beautiful city would play host to their classic elegant wedding.
“We first met at a nightclub in the heart of Melbourne, where Vlasi worked as a DJ and I worked as a VIP hostess,” Morgan, 27, says.
Weeks after meeting, Vlasios, 32, took Morgan on their first date, heading to Crown Casino.
“I think I spoke as little as five words to him because I was so nervous. Four years later he took me back to where we had our first date and asked me to marry him,” Morgan recalls.
The couple spent a year planning their classic elegant wedding, setting the date for April 15, 2018, the bride’s birthday.
They wed in a traditional ceremony at the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia in South Melbourne in front of 150 guests.
After capturing beautiful photographs in the city streets, the couple joined their guests at Mon Bijou, a glamorous penthouse space to drink in the city skyline views.
Morgan describes the celebrations as magical.
“Seeing friends and family celebrate our love from all corners of the world was a memory that will stay with us forever,” she says.

Morgan says her future husband originally purchased an engagement ring with the plan to propose on holiday in Greece. “But he couldn’t wait and proposed days after the ring was ready, I wasn’t complaining,” she says.
Morgan kept her bouquet simple and beautiful with classic roses.
“I know in my heart that I was born to marry this man. I am forever grateful,” Morgan says.
Iconic Melbourne locations provided the perfect backdrop to the couple’s wedding photos.
Nikos Cakes provided the couple’s gorgeous gold cake, as well as treats for the lolly buffet.
