With capacity for 55 guests seated and 110 guests cocktail, guests enjoy stunning views of the harbour and gardens from the floor-to-ceiling glass windows or on the open-air terrace.

Combine a modern Italian menu, impeccable personal service and contemporary architectural design for a spectacular cocktail reception or intimate dinner celebration.

Our city address makes for an effortless transition from ceremony to reception with the Botanic Gardens and many other beautiful ceremony locations within close distance. We can offer some insider tips on the best locations, including some all weather options, all within an easy walking distance to our venue. Metered street parking is available at the venue and parking stations are located at The Domain and St Mary’s Cathedral.

We had the most amazing wedding reception at Poolside! All our guests kept saying to us how fabulous the food was (and we agree, it was all absolutely delicious, it was too hard to pick a favourite canape because it was all so good), the cocktails and the gin bar were a HUGE hit, everyone said how beautiful the venue was and the layout worked so well – people who wanted to sit and chat had ample space to sit and chat, and people who wanted to dance had heaps of space to boogie on the dance floor. Annemarie and the staff were so attentive on the night and took such good care of everyone with dietary requirements, and Stephany was super helpful and responsive in the lead-up. Thanks to Poolside, our wedding reception was such a joyful, smooth, super fun party.

The Poolside Cafe was such a gorgeous location for our wedding - the setting and the vibe of the venue is stunningly spectacular while remaining intimate. The function manager, Steph and all her staff were attentive and warm. Our guests were simply blown away! The food was simply superb and the Chef accommodated all our guests dietary needs.
