What about alcohol service?

Kalinya Estate is a BYO venue. You are free to serve the drinks of your choosing, whether special cocktails, boutique sourced beers and wine, or even an alcohol free event. Your chef/ caterer may provide drinks service, or you can refer to our preferred supplier list our favourites.

Can we have our fur babies involved in our wedding day?

Yes, we love when you bring your special pets to be a part of your special day.

Can we have children as part of our celebrations?

Yes, you can have a child friendly or a child free function, depending on what you are wanting to do. We have plenty onsite to keep children included and entertained.

Is there a curfew, in regards to noise and end of event?

Guests lodging at the Estate do not have to finish celebrating and can continue celebrations inside the Homestead, Lodge and Barn after event curfew hours, so long as no music can be heard outside after 11pm. All day wedding guests not lodging at Kalinya Estate, must have left the property by 11:30pm. In the event of a weekday wedding celebration, each aspect is to be exectuted one hour earlier than the times posited.

Does Kalinya Estate offer Micro wedding packages?

Yes, our micro wedding packages are for up to a maximum of 38 guests.

I am a Clinical Psychologist by trade, so my passion is creating spaces and events that are perfect for building relationships and making memories. Kalinya Estate is well known for its fun private facilities; Golf simulator, shooting range, Kalinya Theatre, squash court, heated 17-meter swimming pool, hot tub, cedar sauna and icebath, Piano and Sports bar, yard games, commercial pizza oven, firepits, chess, tennis court, basketball.... Plenty for everyone of any age to enjoy... no matter the weather!

What about onsite accommodation?

Kalinya Estate sleeps up to 38 guests on-site in luxury accommdation. For guests not staying on the Kalinya Estate property, there are many local Airbnb’s and established hotels in the local region; suggested areas include towns Picton, Camden to the north and Mittagong, Bowral to the south.

Can we hold rehersal dinners, or other wedding ceremonies onsite?

Yes, we often host rehearsal dinner, Mehndi, or Chinese tea ceremonies. Please get in touch with us to work out what we can offer you for your special additional ceremonies.

Can we host a recovery event at Kalinya Estate?

Yes, guests often book additional days to carry on the festivities; beautiful morning after brunches, stay on to enjoy tennis, pool parties, or even a pyjama party in the Kalinya Cinema.

Do you provide catering?

Kalinya Estate offers the flexibility to get whatever food you want to serve for your celebrations. We work with some of the most esteemed chefs and caterers around! We have a fully equipped commercial satellite kitchen for the caterer of your choice to use.

We truly had the most incredible time at Kalinya Estate — there’s absolutely no other venue like it! The estate is stunning, filled with beautiful photo-worthy spots, and offers so much for everyone to enjoy. Our guests loved exploring all the spaces — from relaxing in the hot tub to playing squash and pickleball, or simply soaking in the atmosphere. The venue truly had everything, whether you wanted to be active or unwind. The communication throughout was seamless, and Mandy was an absolute dream to work with — so kind, thoughtful, and genuinely supportive every step of the way. We couldn’t have wished for a better venue or experience. Our wedding weekend was more magical and memorable than we ever imagined.

Spending our wedding weekend at Kalinya Estate, was an absolute dream! Upon our arrival, we noticed how clean the whole estate was. It had been freshly landscaped and the accommodation spaces were stunningly cleaned. Mandy and Bec had put everything that we wanted, exactly where we had asked - tables, high chairs, barrel for the cake, ramps for a guest who uses a wheelchair etc. We had our close family and friends stay with us over the weekend, which was so much fun! We used the pizza oven and enjoyed the many facilities at the property - squash court, pool table, foosball etc. This night was just what we needed to ease our nerves, before our big day! On our wedding day, Mandy was around to help and be a presence of comfort and joy, just when we needed her. Everything ran smoothly and we had the wedding of our dreams! We are so happy that we happened to stumble across Kalinya Estate and that we had the pleasure of meeting Mandy and Bec. They are such friendly, approachable and kind people, who are so passionate about what they do. We can’t thank them enough. We look forward to visiting Kalinya Estate again, in the near future. Dear Mandy & Bec, I honestly don’t know where to begin. From the very first visit Steve and I had at Kalinya all that time ago, I will never forget meeting you, Mandy, for the first time. I just felt so at ease and so comfortable — I fully relaxed. Within five minutes I knew that no matter what happened on the day, good or bad, everything would be okay and wouldn’t be a problem because we were in such good hands. A wedding is such a huge, emotional and special thing, and getting to share that with you and all of your staff has just been so incredibly special to us. It felt right from the very first moment, and every single moment along the journey after that. I need to say a massive thank you for all of our visits. We came up so many times, and especially towards the end we were texting and emailing constantly, yet nothing was ever too much trouble. Whenever I saw either of you, you always had the biggest smile on your faces, and I can’t express enough how amazing that made us feel. We always felt so welcomed, supported and cared for. You are both such amazing people and so unbelievably good at what you do. Your venue is so effortlessly beautiful — everywhere you look is just pure beauty. There truly are not enough words to describe the venue of our dreams and everything it offered us. Your staff are also just beautiful people. Your housekeeping girls always had smiles on their faces and always wanted to make sure we had absolutely everything we needed. They are such amazing people and I would love to pass on a massive thank you to them as well. The houses were beautiful, the grounds were incredible, and we know that so much of what happens is behind the scenes. Even though we don’t always see it, we are so grateful for and aware of all the hard work everyone puts in. I also want to thank you for all the work you put into upgrading and making changes around the venue. When we found out about the disability room you created, at first we were sad about the piano bed going haha, but then we were just so grateful because it was absolutely perfect for my grandma and grandpa. They didn’t have to stress or worry about being involved in activities all day and had somewhere comfortable to retreat to and rest whenever they needed to. That meant so much to our family. On the morning of the wedding, I didn’t get to see much of what was happening behind the scenes, but all I can say is that when it was finally time for me to walk down the aisle, everything was perfectly set up and everyone was exactly where they needed to be — and I know that comes down to your team and everything you do. Mandy, you being there with me while I waited to walk down the aisle was so incredibly special, and you will never know how much that meant to me. Then you running around fixing my train was just so above and beyond, and I truly can’t thank you enough for everything you did. All of your help throughout the reception was also so special. We always just knew that everything was going to be okay because of you both, and having that feeling on such an important day is priceless. There is honestly so much more I could say that it is hard to put into words. I just want to thank you both, along with your entire team, for having us at your beautiful venue, for making us feel so special and supported, and for everything in between. Working with Mandy and Bec at Kalinya Estate was amazing. It felt very easy - they were so lovely and warm and really felt like family. They were so quick with our questions and very accommodating with our requests. Everything was included which made it very stress free. The venue was already beautiful on it's own which did not need too much extra styling. When you arrive at the venue, there is a sense of peace and calm that you feel which is perfect for what you want for your wedding - it was so relaxing. The onsite facilities were plentiful keeping you and your guests entertained throughout. It was top tier accommodation and lodging which felt very high class in a country location.

Kalinya Estate and the team were absolutely brilliant! It was the most easy going we could have hoped for in a venue which made the day so simple. It unexpectedly rained right before our ceremony and what really stood out to us was how prepared Mandy and Bec were with a plan. They were always one step ahead and sorted everything out for us. Their communication was incredible and were the most compassionate and calming people you could have on your day. We were able to stay for a couple of nights with our bridal party and family and we were very well taken care of - it was above and beyond. We knew this venue was the one right from the start.
