Dear Mandy & Bec, I honestly don’t know where to begin. From the very first visit Steve and I had at Kalinya all that time ago, I will never forget meeting you, Mandy, for the first time. I just felt so at ease and so comfortable — I fully relaxed. Within five minutes I knew that no matter what happened on the day, good or bad, everything would be okay and wouldn’t be a problem because we were in such good hands. A wedding is such a huge, emotional and special thing, and getting to share that with you and all of your staff has just been so incredibly special to us. It felt right from the very first moment, and every single moment along the journey after that. I need to say a massive thank you for all of our visits. We came up so many times, and especially towards the end we were texting and emailing constantly, yet nothing was ever too much trouble. Whenever I saw either of you, you always had the biggest smile on your faces, and I can’t express enough how amazing that made us feel. We always felt so welcomed, supported and cared for. You are both such amazing people and so unbelievably good at what you do. Your venue is so effortlessly beautiful — everywhere you look is just pure beauty. There truly are not enough words to describe the venue of our dreams and everything it offered us. Your staff are also just beautiful people. Your housekeeping girls always had smiles on their faces and always wanted to make sure we had absolutely everything we needed. They are such amazing people and I would love to pass on a massive thank you to them as well. The houses were beautiful, the grounds were incredible, and we know that so much of what happens is behind the scenes. Even though we don’t always see it, we are so grateful for and aware of all the hard work everyone puts in. I also want to thank you for all the work you put into upgrading and making changes around the venue. When we found out about the disability room you created, at first we were sad about the piano bed going haha, but then we were just so grateful because it was absolutely perfect for my grandma and grandpa. They didn’t have to stress or worry about being involved in activities all day and had somewhere comfortable to retreat to and rest whenever they needed to. That meant so much to our family. On the morning of the wedding, I didn’t get to see much of what was happening behind the scenes, but all I can say is that when it was finally time for me to walk down the aisle, everything was perfectly set up and everyone was exactly where they needed to be — and I know that comes down to your team and everything you do. Mandy, you being there with me while I waited to walk down the aisle was so incredibly special, and you will never know how much that meant to me. Then you running around fixing my train was just so above and beyond, and I truly can’t thank you enough for everything you did. All of your help throughout the reception was also so special. We always just knew that everything was going to be okay because of you both, and having that feeling on such an important day is priceless. There is honestly so much more I could say that it is hard to put into words. I just want to thank you both, along with your entire team, for having us at your beautiful venue, for making us feel so special and supported, and for everything in between.
