Once a working farm, Inglewood Estate is brimming with local history and charm. Located in picturesque Kangaroo Ground at the gateway to the Yarra Valley, just 45 minutes from Melbourne CBD, the refurbished estate offers an all-inclusive wedding site to gather your wedding party, exchange vows, capture photos and host receptions big and small.
With breathtaking views, exclusive access to the property and convenient access to any or all of the Cottage, Chapel and Barn, Inglewood Estate will be the perfect setting for your big day. Our dedicated events staff would be thrilled to welcome you for a tour of the property and take you through packages for either seated or cocktail receptions for up to 120 people.
Whether holding your ceremony inside the non-denominational Chapel or utilising its vine-covered walls as the backdrop for your vows in the Chapel Gardens, this beautiful building will add a touch of rustic elegance to your day. After the ceremony, your guests will be escorted to The Barn for drinks and canapés while you steal away to capture your first moments as newlyweds in a variety of picturesque settings right here on the property. Our couples and their guests love the convenience of having both the ceremony and reception all in one place allowing more time to connect and celebrate.
The Barn is a distinctive reception venue with the scope to host either the most intimate of gatherings or large scale celebrations. Originally a hayshed, the space maintains touches of its rustic past while the updated fittings project a more sophisticated feel. Add to this a range of possible floor plans, working brick fireplace and breathtaking views of the Yarra Valley and you’ve got the perfect canvas for creating your ideal wedding reception. The space is versatile enough to cater for celebrations in all seasons and easily adaptable to reflect your personal style.
Alleviate any wedding day stress by gathering your bridal party at Inglewood Cottage. Located conveniently on the property, the Cottage will easily accommodate your nearest and dearest for the morning as you prepare for your ceremony and reception. All stylists and vendors can attend to you in the cottage while you calm your nerves with some sparkling and nibbles provided by our staff. With exclusive access to the cottage you can relax in comfort until it is time to walk down the aisle.

You are welcome to place a 5 day tentative booking on one preferred date after touring the estate.
It all depends on what day you wish to be married! Throughout on Sundays and Mondays, you can celebrate until 10pm. On Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, keep the party going until 11:00pm.
Our wedding packages include a 6-hour duration, starting from your ceremony. If you wish to extend the celebration, you can add an extra hour for an additional fee per person.
Yes, you certainly can! Our premium drinks package offers a range of Victorian wines, a local pale ale, and alcohol-free sparkling wine. There's something for everyone.
We have a rather large car park located onsite which allows guests to park near the chapel and the reception venue.
We offer two styles of service for seated events: a sumptuious share-style feast called the Inglewood Package, or traditional alternating service called the Estate Package.
You are more than welcome to choose your own florist and/or stylist to decorate the Chapel and Barn. Wedding suppliers have access to the venue at 10am on the morning of your event and are able to continue decorating right up till an hour prior to the commencement of your ceremony. If you are having difficulty selecting your wedding suppliers, we can provide you with a list of recommended wedding specialists.
Yes! We have two options for ceremonies at Inglewood Estate. There is charming stone Chapel which is located lake-side and is surrounded by stunning trees (there is often wildlife in the nearby paddocks too!). We also offer outdoor ceremonies and have a number of different locations to facilitate this. White garden chairs, as well as a signing table and chairs, are provided with all outdoor ceremonies.
