Yes, we better factor that in, always good to have Plan B in place. There is a space to hold your ceremony in case the weather is not on our side, it's call ed the (fancy) Famrers Shed and hold up to 160 guests).

Are more than welcome at Mewburn Park, must however be supervised at all times by their parent/carer.

Oh we love a little fury friend, please feel free to bring your dog along for the ceremony and photos afterwards. Needless to say, dogs need to be supervised, on a leash and looked after (doggy bag) all the time. We kindly remind you that your dog needs to leave the premises before reception.

ARE ROSE PETALS & CONFETTI ALLOWED?

You can have real flower petals for your ceremony. Confetti, Rice or confetti canons are not permitted. Thank you for your understanding.

We are thrilled you found us.

Mewburn Park, 2.5hrs east of Melbourne, is a 400 acre private property and working farm offering a beautiful colonial Homestead dating from the 1850’s, as is the heritage listed brick stables.

Located in the heart of Gippsland’s food and wine region and tucked behind an oak tree lined driveway, the sanctuary of Mewburn Park has lush gardens, tranquil walkways and ponds that ooze serenity.

The Homestead is wrapped with a huge verandah, taking you back to the glorious 1920’s, while the Servant’s Quarters take you back even further to the colonial 1850’s. Mewburn Park offers a range of locations, helping couples create a wedding that is unique for them & their guests.

Homestead Gardens
The established gardens at the front of the Homestead offer a botanical garden vibe for ceremonies. Guests will arrive through the meandering garden paths, bringing them to the couples exclusive area of huge old oak trees, palms, fish pond and open lawns.

Mewburn Park Ponds
Mewburn Park has tranquil pond areas, offering a stunning ceremony space where couples can have English trees as a backdrop, or the rustic open farm land of Mewburn Park.

The Stables
Mewburn Park’s heritage listed Stables offer a beautiful spot for intimate ceremonies in the courtyard. Draped in festoon lights, this festive space helps create a unique experience for all guests. The Stables pop up bar also allows guests to enjoy this private and secluded area before the evening begins at the reception.

The Marquee
Slowly make your way into Mewburn Park’s clear view marquee; where guests can take in the ‘farmcharm’ that surrounds and the stars from above. The 25 x 10 metre marquee offers plenty of space for a sit down evening or a relaxed cocktail party with tables, chairs and festoon lights all included. We just updated our tables and chairs and polsihed the concrete floor - all for the most amazing night under the stars.

The Day Suite
A gorgeous space in the old Homestead, the boutique Day Suite is tucked away in the centre of the property. Offering a quiet space for couples and co. to relax and prepare for the day ahead.

About

Julia is German, she studied Graphic Design and also worked for huge events, TV & music concerts. Julia's grand parents & parents ran a fine food deli & later catering company – so her love for gourmet food started at a young age. Adam grew up at Mewburn Park and then moved off to Melbourne to study Hospitality Management, and later also Graphic Design. During his studies he worked for many catering companies, large corporate functions and boutique hotels. Our job is a dream come true.

PARKING?

EASY PARKING:

Your guests can park on premises, there are about 300 parking spots. Cars can be left behind over night (no responsibility is taken by MP), but kindly ask to be picked up before lunchtime the next day.

BAR CLOSURE/LIQUOR LICENSE?

Mewburn Park is a licensed venue*; BYO is strictly not permitted!
All staff members practice the Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA). Any intoxicated patrons will be refused service, and may be asked to leave the premises at discretion of the manager. This also applies for patrons who BYO their drinks
The liquor license ends strictly at 11.30pm at night. Once the bar closes or your beverage package timing ends, you and your guests have max. 30 minutes to vacate the premises.
* on Sundays, Good Friday and ANZAC day our liquor license finishes at 11pm.

We got married on the 6th of March 2026 in The Stables, and honestly, we could not have asked for a more perfect venue or team to share our day with. From the very beginning, planning almost 18 months out, Julia and Adam at Mewburn Park made the entire process feel seamless, stress-free, and so incredibly special. They truly cared about bringing our vision to life and went above and beyond in every possible way. Nothing ever felt too hard, and their attention to detail, support, kindness, and genuine passion for what they do made such a difference throughout the whole experience. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, and our guests are still talking about how beautiful everything was. The accommodation we stayed in on the night of the wedding was also amazing, so thoughtfully prepared, comfortable, and filled with little touches that made it feel extra special after such a big day. We are so beyond grateful to the entire Mewburn team for giving us the wedding of our dreams. We will forever rave about this venue and recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere truly magical to get married. 🤍

Wow! Where do we start. Mewburn Park by Julia and Adam was truly perfect. From our very first contact with them after just getting engaged, to meeting them the morning after our wedding and staying on site, it was amazing. So warm, understanding, incredibly clear communicators and the venue speaks for itself. We got married on the 18.4.26 and whilst it was tucking into autumn and a bit chillier in the evening the marque reception was epic!! Trust in all of the vendors that Julia recommends. We used ETC styling, DJ Nige, Duart and our photographers/videographers were Morgan Lee and Cooper. Lauren from ETC was the most incredibly professional and helpful person that made our dreams and vision come to life. Nige brought all of the vibes and always reads the room (reception). And his combi was perfect for our outdoor ceremony. Duart’s food was incredible for our sit down, alternate drop, and canapés. Big and delicious portions and catered so effortlessly for our dietaries. Morgan and Cooper truly captured every moment to perfection for us!! Even our sneak peeks (2 days after say everything)

Julia and Adam were absolutely AMAZING!! Not only is the venue whimsical, it also offers multiple photo locations each with its own unique vibe and the ability to make the space yours. Julia has many and great connections with other vendors that makes for a organised and smooth event. She offered us support the whole way through planning with wonderful communication and accomodating our requests, we cannot thank her enough. Our wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect at Mewburn, with the beautiful getting ready space for us girls, a wonderful garden space for the ceremony, a gorgeous marquee for the reception, and the most spectacular lake house cabin for us to stay in the night of the wedding waking up to the beautiful scenery and breakfast. Attention to detail at Mewburn is nothing short of excellent. We couldn’t have imagined a better location and staff for our special day. We highly recommend Mewburn Park!!! Mewburn park was the perfect wedding venue. The team were so attentive through out the day and before the day. We never didn't have a drink and all our requests were followed through with. When's the best time to do the champagne tower?

We'd love to do a champagne tower at our wedding - when do you suggest fitting it in the formalities/timeline?

Mewburn Park Homestead

At our venue it's most of the time done just before speeches, so everyone is watching and then get's a Champagne for all the happy toasting. We also ahve done them right after the ceremony as you also have a Chamapagne to toast to the newly weds. Either way is beautiful and generates happy guests and great photos!
