If you’re planning an October wedding on the Gold Coast, it may be helpful to check with your hotel bookings manager to ensure that the wedding date you’ve chosen won’t result in higher hotel accommodation rates and traffic congestion, both of which could be a nuisance for your wedding guests. The Gold Coast is also a very popular destination for Australian tourism during school holidays (mid-November to early December) and during the local Blues on Broadbeach Music Festival (May).
