More Than A DJ

About me

I'm Nick. I've been DJing weddings across Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast for years. I do this full-time, no second job, no weekend hobby, just weddings and events as my actual work.

I work alone, so when you enquire, when you book, when you have questions at midnight three months out, you're always talking to me. Not a team. Not an account manager. Not someone else stepping in on the day. The DJ you meet is the DJ on the night.

How I think about the music

The thing most couples worry about, even the ones who don't say it out loud, is whether the dancefloor will actually fill up. Especially if their crowd is mixed, or their music taste isn't "wedding music."

Those are usually the best nights. There's a way to read the room and build it properly, and that's the part I take seriously. I don't run a cookie-cutter playlist. If you've got songs you love that you think aren't wedding music, send them anyway, those are often the ones that make the night. I dig for the music. And when the bride and groom are having fun, the rest of the room follows. That's the formula.
