PS-MakeUp Artistry

A passion for makeup... I remember as a girl, my mother buying me my first makeup kit. This was no ordinary palette of shadows, it was a little chest formed of smooth glossy black plastic which opened to reveal an abundance of multi-toned and textured treasure that gleamed back at me - in eager anticipation, I couldn't wait to discover the possibilities.

Today I am still just as eager to discover the limitless possibilities that makeup can deliver - although my treasure chest has grown somewhat.

 I have always surrounded myself with The Arts. I have completed my Bachelor of Creative Arts majoring in Performance and a Certificate III in Beauty Services.

I further developed my love for makeup during this time experimenting with character makeup and studying the Old Hollywood glamour of actresses like Clara Bow, Marlene Dietrich, Bette Davis, Ava Gardner, Liz Taylor, Grace Kelly, Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe.

Much of my inspiration for makeup derives from celebrity icons.

I believe that a successful makeup requires not only skill but knowledge of trends, both past and present, and transforming it into your own unique expression.
