Am I allowed to take photos of the dresses I try on?

Hello, Yes, however, best to ask first before you start snapping.

Every store has their own policy so I would check on arrival.  Most will allow photographs of your top favourite couple of gowns if you ask.  It is never a good idea to take photos of every gown you try on as it can get confusing.  Most importantly remember an iphone photograph is never going to reflect how you feel in the gown, and will never look as good as what your wedding photographer will do.  

Just remeber photos taken by phone instore are a great reference and your photographer will capture the true beauty of the gown you love.  Only take pictures of the styules that you love not of every gown tried on. Your stylist on the day will be more than happy to assist you with taking photos of yourself in your favourite gown!

This is totally up to the stylist and shop policy of where you are. Some are more flexible than others, so my advice is to ask the question when you book your appointment so that you go in prepared. Good luck with your wedding dress journey and remember if you don't find one that makes your heart skip a beat, then consider getting one custom made with all of the elements that compliment you in the BEST way! we do allow photos be taken of the gowns, as it can help you remember what you have tried on. However, it is always better to ask your consultant first as there are sometimes exceptions to this.
