Our alteration consultation quotes depends on the work that needs to be done, the fabric of the dress and process time.Therefore, the quotes vary from a bride to the other. Our initial alteration consultation is free of charge, we will provide you with a quote on the day.

At Eternal Weddings, alterations are done in house and our alterations pricing starts from $190.

What should I take with me to my appointment when trying on wedding dresses?

A big smile and an open mind is the best thing to bring with you! Be open to trying on lots of different styles, as this is the best way to find "the one"!
Seamless underwears are a great idea while trying on wedding dresses - especially for fitted silhouttes!
A strapless bra can be an option, but not necessary as the dresses have built in cups.

The dress was lovely, however found the experience itself to be quite pushy and rude. The main salesperson was extremely pushy and over the top with her 'I'll give it to you cheaper but the manager has microphones hidden so I'll get in trouble' act. On visits I did hear them arguing with other clients whilst in the changerooms - I felt quite uneasy. I loved the dress, however alterations were extremely expensive and not what I wanted or expected when paying that kind of price. They didn't take the waist in enough which resulted in a line across the waist as a quick fix way to alter it. There was also a huge pull right in the middle of the back of the dress (which they did fix) however it was not an area that needed altering to begin with and they only fixed it once I pointed it out to them. Loved the dress, but would recommend trying other places first.

The ladies that work in this store are so BEAUTIFUL and want you to find the perfect dress that you feel like a princess in. I visited different stores and what I appreciated most about this store was the smaller selection of dresses. Other stores are overwhelming when you're already uncertain about what style dress you want. Eternal Weddings aren't trying to squish as many dresses as possible into the store. They also have a diverse range of dresses, so finding the perfect dress with black was easy <3

Awful conduct and terrible quality alterations by Eternal Weddings and Marie. I found a beautiful dress for $2970. They originally quoted $3075 for basic alterations (later reduced to $1400 when my mum and I were about to walk out). See photos for the terrible quality of the alterations. The bustle broke and stitching came out on my wedding day. They also said they would press the dress complimentary - see the end results of that. I ended up having to pay $200 to have the dress pressed at Syndals Bridal Dry Cleaners. They refused to give an itemised receipt as required by law. Read the low-rating google reviews before going here. It is shocking and I would not wish this experience on any bride. It makes me so sad that Marie is OK with treating people in this way.
