The entire process was very rushed as we were pushed to make a purchase on the day, they said the dress off the floor would dissappear very quickly and there's no way to get it within a couple months after it was purchased. When I came in for the fitting a week later, the dress was already replaced with the same one. The staff was embarrassed for me to see that the dress was replaced so quickly. A lot of things they said they could fix with altering when we bought the dress wasn't fixed or up to standard (the fit around the breast area didn't fit properly, the corset being very long and looking funny around the bum area because it stuck outwards, etc.). The dress had an overskirt attachment that was more dirty than when we first saw and bought the dress. They couldn't even give it a quick spot clean. Overall, you're treated horribly and looked down upon if you come in with a budget, they will lie to you to get a sale, over promise their skills in tailoring and under deliver. PS. They couldn't even send us a proper invoice when we requested it. The dress reminded me of horrible memories and gave me so much stress, I didn't wear it for my ceremony, only as a photoshoot dress so $6,000 didn't fully go to waste. PSS. We found another vendor, who genuinely cared for us, had amazing communication skills, we bought the dress off the floor but they had the decency to wash it for us even if they didn't have to (they said they could spot clean but went above and beyond this expectation), could provide receipts upon calling, tailored the dress as they promised that fit right. Lesson learned, never trust companies' promises even if they're "luxury" and have good reviews and beware of them rushing you into purchases.

Idora Bridal has a gorgeous range of dresses. They were on the more expensive end of the stores I went to, but their dresses are very intricately detailed, and high quality. They were the only wedding shop I went to that didn't let you take photos before buying. I understand why, they don't want their designs to be stolen. But it's good to know, for those who were hoping for feedback from a family member or bridesmaid before purchasing.
