I had Susy do my make-up. She was a fantastic make-up artist. My whole bridal party was thrilled with their final look. Susy was a relaxed and professional presence on the day. I did a trial with her so I knew we were on the same page. She's done a lot of training on colours, and she really knew how to bring out the colour in our eyes. She used individual fake lashes which looked great and lasted all night. We didn't want anything too glam, and she nailed it.

I didn't end up buying these as favours, because we had so many guests that wouldn't be drinking. But I loved the idea so much that I bought them as gifts for my bridal party, when I asked them to be bridesmaids. I got the feedback that the espresso martini was the best one.

Theodore did a wonderful job with the tailored suit. The staff were very lovely and helpful. They had lots of options of gorgeous fabrics.

Tumbleweed were great to work with. They were always prompt to reply, and they followed up with me when I forgot to get back to them. I loved the wide white arch that we hired and they did an amazing job setting up festoon lights. They were no fuss, showed up, set up and packed down after we'd gone, all without me seeing them or interacting with them.

Lena was such a sweet celebrant. She was so helpful in the lead up to our wedding and gave us lots of material for vows and readings inspiration. She was very patient with how disorganised we were and didn't judge us for being so last minute with a lot of things. She was gracious with her time and was a calming presence on the day.

This was a really stunning venue, I think much nicer in person than it looks on their website or in any Instagram pics I could find. The staff at The Mint were delightful and helpful. Only downside is that you're locked in with their on-site caterer. And while the food was good, and the wait staff on the night were good, they were a source of stress with inconsistent quoting and mistakes being made with what we'd selected, which I picked up prior to the event luckily.

Idora Bridal has a gorgeous range of dresses. They were on the more expensive end of the stores I went to, but their dresses are very intricately detailed, and high quality. They were the only wedding shop I went to that didn't let you take photos before buying. I understand why, they don't want their designs to be stolen. But it's good to know, for those who were hoping for feedback from a family member or bridesmaid before purchasing.
