We create customised weddings and events, with the aim to bring your vision to life! Our services include styling, flowers, coordination and prop hire.

At Tumbleweed Events we specialise in event styling, creating beautiful bespoke events. Whether it’s a fully styled wedding or a small seventies soiree, we will style it. We assist in determining the look and feel of your event, combining our design skills with your vision, creating a truly unique event. We source props and put together all of the styling details to bring your vision to life. Based in Sydney we service the Sydney Metropolitan area, Regional NSW and Canberra. Our services include:

  • Initial meeting to determine your vision and make sure we can provide the guidance and design you require
  • Provide storyboards to clearly articulate aesthetic goals  
  • Provide vendor recommendations if required.
  • Visit event venue to determine layout of floor plan and inspiration
  • Provide props from Tumbleweeds eclectic collection including lights, backdrops, furniture etc
  • Custom design elements like wedding ceremony backdrops, arches, lights
  • Source speciality materials and props.
  • Set-up all design elements for the event or install day.
  • Co-ordination of your suppliers, who are delivering styled items such as flowers, furniture etc 
  • Inhouse floral service including reception and ceremony floral displays aswell as bridal bouquets and buttonholes

What services do you offer?

Tumbleweed Events

Tumbleweed Events offer on the day coordination, styling , flowers and prop hire. We can work with you leading up to your wedding on decoration and theme ideas, timelines for the day, floral suggestions for bouquets or arrangements, give you suggestions on prop items - whether you have your own or would like to hire some from our collection. We offer a range of services to help take the stress out of your day and make the wedding look stunning.

Can you set up both the ceremony and reception?

Tumbleweed Events

Yes we can do both ceremony and reception or just one of the two, we have no minimum charge for an event. We have a team of staff that help with set up , styling , coordination and flowers.

Can I just hire props from Tumbleweed Events

Tumbleweed Events

Yes you can hire from our prop collection , there is no minimum hire fee , we can deliver to any location within NSW or you can collect from COMO nsw.  There is a delivery fee depending on location and size of hire.

What is the difference between a planner, a coordinator, a decorator and stylist ?

Tumbleweed Events

A Planner is involved early on in the process from logisitics, budgets, vendor referrals, contract negotiations to day of execution of the event. Hours work can vary from 80 - 250.

A Coordinator will be involved in the logisitics but on a shorter timeline than a planner. They are usally involved up to a month prior to the event. They will be there on the day to make sure everything runs smoothly, everything is in order and nothing is forgotten. Hours work can be 20 - 40.

A Decorator/Stylist mostly will offer the same service , the role is purely aesthetic they specialize in design, floorplan layout, lighting and sometimes flowers. They help bring a vision to life creating a cohesive and stylish event. They will set up any props, furniture, lighting and work with the venue coordinator to make sure everything comes together on the day. Hours of work can vary from 30 - 60 hours.

Ruth was absolutely amazing! I approached Ruth at short notice and she saved our wedding! Not only did she provide amazing decorations and a candy bar she also run the whole setup and made sure everything ran smoothly on the day. I honestly could not recommend her enough, do yourself a favor and call Ruth for your wedding

Tumbleweed Events rescued our wedding day! I hired them to plan and style our wedding ceremony and reception space but when the worst thing happened - the wait staff I had booked didn't turn up to our reception - Adam and Ruth from Tumbleweed Events stepped up and saved the day. We had an empty venue that needed to be set up for 120 guests and no one to set-up or serve guests. Tumbleweed took over and set-up everything. Yet they were only hired to style the event! They went above and beyond and never complained once. Their only concern was making sure that the bride, groom and guests were happy. They did all this and still made the place look like a spectacular fairytale! I can't recommend them enough.

It was a busy day full of suprises, but nothing we couldn't handle, the most important thing was that you guys had a wonderful day and all the guests got to enjoy themselves. It is definitely a wedding I will never forget, it was such a pleasure to be able to step in and help create the day you've always wanted.

Ruth at Tumbelweed Events was simply a delight to deal with. Ruth understood the look we were going for and was so helpful. We hired an arch, vintage suitcase and table plan chalkboard from her.
