David Campbell Celebrant

This is such an exciting time for you. It would be my privileged to be your celebrant. Let me tell you a little bit about myself.

I married Denise in 1985 and we moved to Canberra in 1987 where we have raised our family. I have a strong Christian faith and am a traditional person, partially a result of having spent 20 years in the Navy.

I became a celebrant because:

• a number of my friends said I would make a great celebrant, and
I was approached by few “Brides to be” to see if I would be able to do their wedding.

I love celebrating significant life events, particularly including meaningful and symbolic aspects that couples bring to their weddings to make a special ceremony and time to remember.

I have a number of passions (hobbies) in life.

• I enjoy four wheel driving. So if you want a wedding in a remote location, I know a few and can get to them.
• I also enjoy wood turning. As your celebrant I will hand make either:
• a wooden pen (used to sign your wedding certificate) or
• a Knife (for you cut your wedding cake)

as my gift to you on this special day.

Above all, I want you to feel confident and comfortable with who I am and that we can work together to make your wedding ceremony and day as special as you have dreamed it would be.”
