I am passionate about love & believe in the wonderful commitment marriage brings to a relationship. I am happily married with two adult children. I am excited to work with my clients to create a wonderful and memorable day for my couples. I always give my Couples a booklet with examples of vows. Makes it so much stress free if you can see some examples and take it from there. Not everyone can write so it is lovely to see some options to give you inspiration. I always offer my couples also the opportunity for me to assist them with rewording the vows so they really are sensational. I love to give my couples beautiful vow cards to keep as well as a memory of their special day.
Do celebrants have a backup celebrant in case of emergencies?
Hello. I was wondering what happens if our celebrant is sick or something happens and they can't come to our wedding on the day? Do they usually have a backup celebrant in mind for this sort of thing? And how does it work with the legal side, would our marriage still be legal if another celebrant performed the ceremony? Thank you!

100% we do. I have two lovely ladies who back me up. We are always aware of what bookings we have and who can step in if needed. Usually all legal paperwork can be scanned through to the new Celebrant at short notice. My fill in Celebrants will re-sight your identification, before the ceremony starts. Plus they will have my script so your ceremony is still the same script approved by yourselves.
Question about marriage
Hi, I am in a long distance relationship with someone in the Philippines. We are looking to get married, but in the Philippines, you need to get your parents consent if you are under 21 and she is 19. If we were to get married in Australia, will she still need parental consent? The reason why we don't want her parents consent is because her mother is emotionally abusive, controlling and toxic. She will never consent to us getting married.
