We had our ceremony & reception at Sergeants Mess in March 2017. It was raining and luckily the venue had a wet weather option indoors. We were glad that both the ceremony and reception went as planned. The venue itself is gorgeous with vast water views, both venue coordinator and manager were helpful and ensured that the wedding went well, the food was fantastic - my guests loved the food! The venue is spacious - there's a "boardroom" downstairs that we have used for our tea ceremony and a bridal room that both my bridesmaids and I have used to freshen up. All in all, Sergeants Mess is a fantastic venue for brides looking for classy and modern venue.

Working with Janet has been amazing! She is professional, fun, bubbly and reliable. We communicated mostly through emails - her responses were prompt. She provided us with both a hard-copy folder and soft-copies of materials that we can work with for the ceremony - we didn't have to do much, really! During both the rehearsal and ceremony, Janet reminded both my husband and I that the day is about both of us and nothing else, that absolutely helped us with focusing only on each other. I am happy to have chosen Janet as our celebrant. Thanks, Janet!

Marriage Celebrants

Ray is professional and friendly. We met up with Ray at his home where he gave us a tour of his cars and their historical backgrounds. I chose the white Rolls Royce as my limo and also chartered 2 mini buses to transport my guests to the ceremony. He waited for our ceremony to concluded so we can take a couple of photos with the car before heading off. I'd recommend Ray to brides looking for vintage limos.

16 strings were delightful to deal with. All communication were via emails and the team lead called me the day before the wedding to run through the timeline for the wedding and ensure that they have listed our songs correctly. They play modern pop songs that added the fun element to our wedding as guests sing along to them.

Back in July 2016, I made an appointment for this shop and a 2nd appointment for another shop in the same building and was about to give this shop a call to cancel my appointment because I was going to settle for a gown that I've tried on and liked at the other shop. I am glad I went for the appointment anyways because I met Trisha, the sales person at Fashions By Farina who has listened to my preferences, thoughts and ideas. Trisha is fantastic, "motherly", listens between the lines and not pushy at all. I was telling her about the gowns that I've tried on at the other bridal shops, what I like and didn't like - I didn't have a clear idea of what I wanted. She listened and pulled a gown off the rack and asked me to put it on. I tried it on and knew it was the one. I booked my wedding gown at the end of my first appointment!! Marisol, the in-house seamstress was experienced and professional. Her work was perfect and my gown fit like a glove! I went for 3 fittings and each time I was nervous about the end product but upon seeing Marisol's work on me, I am reassured. Thanks, ladies!
