We made a donation on behalf of all of our guests and in return the Cancer Council sent us daffodil pins and a small card attached with our names and the date of our wedding. You can't go wrong with giving back and 90% of our guests ended up wearing them during the night.

We used the Amora Riverwalk Hotel in Richmond for our ceremony and we were really impressed by the help and service we received from the staff there, but particularly Lucky Setunga who was our coordinator. All the details and paperwork was thorough, they were flexible, and were happy to meet us on site multiple times. I liked this venue because there was an indoor and outdoor ceremony option, there were bathrooms, and lounges and airconditioning in the lobby for any guests who we thought might struggle with the heat. We also were able to put a bar tab on the outdoor bar and so our guests didn't have to worry about what to do in between the ceremony and the reception, they could stay back and enjoy the afternoon. Our ceremony was in the glass marquee and we found it was a great way to keep guests cool and shaded, but we had parts of it open to ensure that the nice summer weather came through.

Allan, Johnny, and the rest of the team were great to work with an we're really, really impressed by our photos. Their customer service is great, they're friendly in general, and were eager to get us the shots we wanted. The turnaround time for the photos was 4-5 weeks (which we knew was normal) and we couldn't be happier.

Very professional, easy to deal with, and the car was spotless. The driver was so nice, didn't grumble about where we needed to go for photos, and helped us with our belongings. We also opted for transfer at the end of the night which was a great idea because the driver was simply waiting for us to finish up and then took us to our hotel. Great experience and cost effective too. Our service included water and champagne.

We asked Bruce to DJ our wedding and to assist our friend who was our MC. Bruce was great to deal with from the start, had a great sense of humour, and didn't seem to mind coming to our house for meetings. He was very organised but wasn't stressed if we hadn't figured out what song we wanted played when, and he also offered suggestions not just for songs, but how to run the night so that we could maximise our time having fun. He also recommended our celebrant, Maree Livy, who was amazing as well. A great duo to have on the day.

We organised our flowers and archway through Laura at Laurel & Grace and a lot of our friends and family commented on the great colour scheme and choice of flowers. Laura was great to deal with and she delivered above and beyond.
