A Disney twist was a fitting addition to Rachel Watkins and Rick Priest’s Melbourne Museum wedding.
“Rachel and I met five years ago at Walt Disney World,” Rick, 27, explains.
“We both went over to work for 12 months in the Disney parks, not knowing that we would meet the love of our lives.”
After a romantic proposal in Fiji, Rick and Rachel, 26, chose the minimalist elegance of the Melbourne Museum for their wedding celebrations on March 28, 2015.
Ninety family and friends attended the ceremony on the museum’s North Terrace, with the reception held at the museum’s Treetops venue.
A photo booth, courtesy of In The Booth, kept guests entertained and Minnie and Mickey Mouse crowns were the perfect wardrobe additions for the newlyweds.
Peter Rowland Catering tantalised the tastebuds, and music from Mercury DJ Hire got everyone on the dancefloor.
“We had such a ball and enjoyed every minute of it,” Rick says.
“Our wedding reflected our personalities, full of fun, surprises and love for each other.”
