After a proposal at the top of one of the world’s most beautiful landmarks, naturally, an equally gorgeous wedding was to follow.
David Frangos asked girlfriend Sarah Crick, both aged 23, to marry him at the top of Table Mountain in South Africa — Sarah’s homeland. Six months later they were wed in the presence of 73 guests at Woombye Chapel in Queensland, followed by a reception at Noosa Boathouse.
“David and I are from opposite sides of the world and yet somehow we just get each other and have so much in common and so many of the same goals for our lives,” says the bride. “Our wedding shows acceptance of different cultures and two very different families coming together as one, and embracing diversity — it is beautiful.”
Sarah best describes the Noosa Boathouse wedding theme as having a “simple touch of elegance and prettiness” — evident in the couple’s tasteful choice of décor supplied and styled by Circle of Love.
The newlyweds honeymooned in Tasmania and are now looking forward to moving into their newly built home. “Our happily ever after has finally happened,” smiles the bride.

23-year-old Sarah was accompanied down the aisle by a very cute flower girl, and page boy dressed in a light grey suit by Ollie’s Place Kidswear.
The bride and her bridesmaids’ bouquets were bursting with greenery.
Sarah opted for a very natural make-up and hair look on the winter’s day.
Pink and white filled the couple’s reception space at Noosa Boathouse, which Sarah helped to decorate.
