After a romantic New York proposal, Kathleen Mair and Christopher Brown recreated the glamour of the Big Apple in their gorgeous Brisbane wedding.
Chris, 28, proposed to partner of seven years Kathleen, 29, just as the ball dropped in Times Square on New Year’s Eve.
The pair then spent two years planning their glamorous wedding that recreated the big city life at Fortitude Valley’s Cloudland.
Their Valentine’s Day wedding on February 14, 2015, was attended by 100 friends and family.
“Walking down the aisle, time did just stood still. I couldn’t even hear the music and I could only see my husband-to-be,” Kathleen says of the romantic ceremony.
The reception followed at the same unique Cloudland venue, where a DJ and photobooth kept energy levels high.
“The day was filled with love, family and dancing! It was the most unreal experience,” Kathleen says.

For the ceremony, Kathleen wore an elaborate gown from Luv Bridal before changing into another dress, from When Freddie Met Lilly, for the reception.
Kathleen’s advice to future bride’s is to take a moment to stop and take in the day. “Time flies when you’re having fun,” she says.
