Hi my names adam and over the past few months ive had to watch my girlsfriends mother gradually deteriorate from cancer and my partner wont have her mum around much longer so what id like to do is give her the ooputunity to see one of her kids walk down the isle its such short notice but its something that i feel needs to happen we hsve been talking about getting married for awhile but the time is perfect can u help ? I would like to make a note on the back of our engagement party invites to explain to friends and family it may be our only opportunity to celebrate with those who won't be at our intimate destination wedding. We are not having an overly-formal wedding. However I don't want to come off sounding rude.
