How do you word important information on your invites?

I would like to make a note on the back of our engagement party invites to explain to friends and family it may be our only opportunity to celebrate with those who won't be at our intimate destination wedding. We are not having an overly-formal wedding. However I don't want to come off sounding rude. So far I have: Our wedding will be an intimate family gathering overseas, This is our opportunity to celebrate with those who won't be with us on our special day. Please let me know how this sounds. Thanks heaps in advance! - Cat

All designs are unique! Some are more formal whilst others prefer to keep their content light and minimal!

Our main reference to content is based on your names, as you would like them presented. Your family/parents names or mentions, your ceremony and reception details and any other specific details you may like to inlcude!

Hi there Cat,

I'm sure it can be a stressful time trying to plan everything whilst keeping everyone happy!

I think what you wrote suits but here is some extra wording I have come up with to help you.

It has a little ryhme to it to lighten the mood.

"Our Wedding will be an intimate family gathering overseas to officially say I do.

So it would mean the world to us to celebrate our engagement together

with all of our family and friends who we wish could be there with us too."
