Are wedding venues only 18+ or can minors attend the reception where alcohol is being served?

Minors are more than welcome to join in the celebrations, we are fully licensed restaurant.

Hi there, 

Yes, children and teenagers are permitted with adult supervision at all Showtime Event Group venues. We provide a fun kids meal at a reduced rate to look after all of the children. Teenagers have a reduced rate too (adult meal with no alcohol).

Each venue has a different policy however in most venues, it works the same as any licenced venue, under 18's are more than welcome to attend, however there will be a restrivted area for the bar and they wont be allowed to consume alcohol in line with the Australian laws and RSA regualtions.

At the Tuggeranong Homestead, we warmly welcome guests under 18 years of age. As we possess our own liquor license, it is essential that adults place orders for the children's beverages directly at the bars. Rest assured, we provide a family-friendly environment to ensure everyone has an enjoyable and safe experience.

Minors can still attend

Marnong Estate welcomes any under 18's however they are not permitted to consume alcohol. in saying that we do have a non alcoholic beverage package especially for them.

Minors are welcome to attend the venue on any occasion.

Minors are welcome at the Lighthouse Restaurant for any occasions. We just advice on attentive care with children especially with safety when close to the wateredge and not being around the bar area.

This will vary from venue to venue! Here at Kookaburra Hideaway we welcome guests of all ages and even have a section for minors to get their own drinks!

We allow children at our venue and when booking with us we receommend the best caterers and bar staff with RSA licenses.
