Each venue will have its own minimum numbers, however a small wedding in our books is 20-40 guests.

Small weddings are fabulous as you can truly visit with your firends and family who are a part of your day and maximise the space available to you.

We have a space perfect for weddings of 50 & less, and a space for weddings larger, as most venues will.

All the best!

I would say 50 or less.

Events of 50 or larger can usually occupy the whole venue exclusively, smaller groups of 50 or less can be a simple luncheon or dinner by sharing with or without the public.

At most wedding venues  a small wedding would usually be 60 guests or less. In a restaurtant setting it would probably be 40 guests or less.

Hello, I would consider a small wedding to be between 40 and 60 guests (our Minimum number of guests are 40)

Trentham Estate Winery have a private restaurant area that comfortably suits up to 60 guests for an intimate evening Wedding or day time Wedding, a Veranda that suits up to 80 guests or we can hire Marquees to suit up to 200 guests.

All function and restaurant areas have a picturesque view overlook the Mighty Murray river

I think around 40-50 consitutes a small wedding. Having said that a wedding can be had for even 20 people.  But then, if you are having it in a restaurant, it's maybe better to treat it like a 'big table'. It's less formal and more flexible. It can be a problem if the main area is requested (which comes with a dance floor in an enclosed area). Most place have a minimum spend so unless you take a more expensive package which you may not want it can be a problem.

We are seeing more and more of this type of wedding being booked and have created a separate space for it, complete with its own toilet and entrance. You can see it here ...

This smaller area solves the 'minimum spend' problem so you should look for multi purpos venues like this.

If you are located in Perth you can view it.

Hope this helps.

Hi

Thanks for your question, some venues will have a minimum number of guests, and this is so you have enough guests to fill the room to create the right atmostphere for the size of the room.  We have a minimum of 80 guests so as you can comfortably fill the room.

Many thanks

Hi there! We normally think of a small wedding as anything between 10 and 30 guests, but 55 is a lovely number - not too many so you can still get to see everyone but not so small you won't be able to invite everyone whois important to you.

If you have any other questions or would like more information please feel free to email rose@botanicaweddings.com. Thanks!

A small wedding can consitute anything from just having only both your parents present, to only close family and friends..

Around 50 can still be categorised as a small wedding - considering many couples with large families have over 100 guests invited to their weddings. In some cultures, it's also very common to have a large guest list counting more than 300 people!
