Beautifully landscaped gardens set against a backdrop of vineyards and the distant mountains of the Great Dividing Range create the perfect setting for your ceremony, photographs and pre-dinner drinks and canapes.

Our 100-seat restaurant Locale with its gorgeous views and authentic, ingredient-driven Italian accent is the wedding dinner venue. Our experienced, helpful wedding co-ordinators can tailor a wine and food package to exactly suit your needs.

Lisa has dedicated almost two decades to De Bortoli Wines, starting her career as a casual in the restaurant, then working her way to her current role as Function and Events Manager. And with two children of her own, Lisa sure knows how to juggle… the perfect skill to have when working in events. Lisa is a romantic at heart and loves working with couples to plan their special day. “I really enjoy the one-on-one contact with wedding couples and finding out about their story and how they met".

Our day at De Bortoli was fantastic with lots of great wine and food. We also loved the hospitality from Tony and his team who went above and beyond on the day. Thank you to yourself, Tony and your team for making us and our guests so happy. We really appreciate all the extra effort you all put in to make our day special. We had the most awesome day at DeBortoli’s for our wedding! We had the wedding on the lawn overlooking the winery on a stunning autumn day, and the lunch reception at their Locale Restaurant. Having eaten at DeBortoli's and being members of their wine club, we knew the food and wine for our wedding would be amazing (which is was), but what added something extra special for us was the professionalism, flexibility and kindness of the DeBortoli's staff. Lisa, Tony and the team made our wedding planning process stress free with tailoring their options to our wedding style, and nothing was too difficult for them to arrange. They also could not have been more helpful on the day and went over and beyond to make the day special and without fuss. Their beautiful garden was a spectacular backdrop for our wedding, with a gorgeous view over the vines and a fabulous play area hidden away for ours guests children to enjoy. We had so many lovely compliments on our wedding and owe a lot of it due to DeBortoli. We would highly recommend it for anyone looking at venues for such an occasion!

Do many venues provide the option for a cash bar?

We don't drink, so are considering this as an option..

Hi there

Congratulations on your engagement and upcoming wedding. We offer both drinks packages and also a cash bar can be arranged. You can set a limit that you want to spend on drinks and we can then advise you once you reach that limit and then we can even open the bar up for guests to pay for themselves from that point. There are lots of options that we can help you with where you are not locked into a price per head for beverages.

We are looking for a venue with a late license?

We have family coming from overseas (France, UK) and it's unheard of to turn the lights on and the music off at midnight and kick everyone out when the party is just getting started. We are looking for a venue who will accommodate us until at least 2AM, if not all night. We are happy to DIY everything.

HELP! How must does a wedding cost?

I just got engaged (yay!) and I have no idea where to start budgeting. Is there a ballpark figure I should aim for? Then at least I can pick my date :)

Depending on the time of the year and even the day that you choose, will determine the cost of the overall wedding. We can offer discounts during certain times of the year being April - September which can substantially help with bringing the costs down a bit for you.
