Jemma and Jordan’s classic Yarra Valley wedding at Rochford Wines

Rochford Wines Yarra Valley set the perfect backdrop for Jordan and Jemma’s classic celebration, following an earlier delay to their original 2020 plans that ultimately allowed them to refocus on what mattered most.

Wanting a day that felt genuine and relaxed, the couple centered their plans around faith, family, and extraordinary food. They began with a traditional service at St Patrick’s Catholic Church in Lilydale, fulfilling the bride’s lifelong dream of a church wedding before heading into the heart of the Yarra Valley for the main event.

The festivities continued at Rochford Wines Yarra Valley, where sixty-six guests were welcomed onto the outdoor grounds with flowing drinks and cocktails as the afternoon unfolded. The team at Happily Ever After Photography and Stu Art Video Productions captured every moment as the group moved indoors to Isabella’s for the reception, where guests enjoyed a three-course menu featuring canapes, salt and pepper calamari, and slow-cooked beef. Floor-to-ceiling windows provided sweeping views across the vineyards, keeping everyone connected to the landscape throughout dinner before the night transitioned to the dance floor.

Finding a venue that reflected their personality was priority number one, and Rochford Wines Yarra Valley delivered. “When we started looking for our venue, it was really important to us that it reflected who we are,” Jordan says. “The moment we walked into Rochford, we both just felt it. The beautiful surroundings and scenery were exactly what we had imagined, but it was more than just the venue itself. The staff and everyone involved were the icing on the cake.” Food was equally vital to the couple’s plans. “As foodies, the food was incredibly important to us, and Rochford absolutely delivered. Even now, our guests still talk about the food! Rochford gave us exactly what we wanted.”
