Milestone Events is a boutique venue in the beautiful & historic Barracks Precinct, 5 minutes north of the famous Manly Beach. Boasting exclusive hire, you will feel a million miles away in this secluded, licensed wedding venue, from the majestic grandeur of the listed ballroom with picturesque private garden and the adjoining cosy lounge to the glorious Memorial Lawn with incredible 360 views.

Located in a beautifully secluded part of Sydney up on the headland, Milestone Events is a unique 1930s traditional brick wedding venue nestled amongst the native flora and fauna of the Sydney Harbour National Park. Considered Sydney’s hidden wedding gem, inside you will find high ceilings, original wooden floors, and an art deco bar.

Milestone Events also boasts a grand heritage-listed ballroom and a more intimate, cosy cane lounge. The room’s classic features lend itself to any decor style and crisp white walls provide a canvas to decorate to your desire. Do you hold more than one event on the same day?

No, we only schedule one event per day , so you have full venue access for the day and the full attention of the Milestone team.

Can we get ready at the venue?

Yes, we have both a bridal suite, and a lounge area perfect for getting ready, this is at no extra charge and include some nibbles and champagne (or beer).

Can we drop items off leading in the days up to the wedding?

Outstanding. The venue, food, drinks and above all the service. Can not speak more highly of the milestone team. Miles game us a complete package price and WOW did they deliver. Over 160 people and the majority have said to me, " best wedding ever." Amazing. Thank you! Bec&Tim.

From beginning to end I could not have asked for a more beautiful venue. The food was delicious and there were so many options. Miles sources delicious wines and they have delicious local beer fresh from the brewery on tap. They recommended some fantastic suppliers which made planning a dream.

The A-team. Miles (Dad), Tessa (daughter) and Chef Marion Jane (Mum) took such great care of us. They took care of logistics and decorations so that we could focus on other parts of the wedding. AND THE FOOD! Everyone loved it. We all had a great time - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Having our wedding at Milestone events was a wonderful experience. The family run business meant that every interaction was personal and meaningful. Nothing was a hassle, we postponed once due to Covid and Miles and Tessa were extremely understanding. Everything was transparent, cost was very reasonable and no hidden charges. Miles and Tessa were there from day one, all the way to the wedding day. We cannot thank them enough for helping provide our best day thus far. Dani and Marty.

We feel so fortunate to have met Miles, Tessa and the Milestone Events Team who created such a positive experience for us right from the booking process through to a wedding day that went above & beyond what we thought the day would be like. Their expertise in all elements of the wedding planning were outstanding yet humble and they were so accommodating, sincerely wanting the provide the best service to ensure our day was perfect. The back garden for the ceremony, front garden for our garden party & ballroom for the cocktail party - what a beautiful, intimate back drop surrounded by the tree's and nature. It really was a very special day that our friends & family were so complimentary of & everyone had the best time! We didn't want it to end. Cannot fault the Milestone Events Team or Venue. Thank you for an amazing day!

We absolutely loved our wedding reception at Milestone!! Every aspect was fabulous! The staff and management on the night were so accommodating and made it completely stress free for us. The food tasting experience was fantastic; personal, fun, delicious and gave us a real feel for the actual evening. All our guests raved about the food, venue and the atmosphere created by the staff. The package with hotel on the night added to the stress free nature of the whole event. Would highly recommend them!!

Miles and his family were absolutely amazing. I sent a million emails with questions and they were all answered within a day and always providing extra information. Miles was our MC for the wedding and I could not fault him. His wife is the head chef and her food was to die for! Could not fault it. And no issues catering for coeliac or vegan guests. Tessa, miles' daughter, was amazing! She made sure everything ran smoothly on the day and even drive myself, my husband and our photographer to north head for some extra photos! Could not recommend highly enough!

WOW! What can I say. Miles, Tessa, Jane and the whole Milestone team helped us put together an incredible wedding. From start to finish they were so kind, down to earth & helpful, especially through a COVID-19 postponement. They went over and above to make sure our wedding went off without a hitch, even with 100ml+ of rain on the day. The venue is beautiful and was the perfect set up for our banquet style dinner followed by an amazing dance floor. The food & wine were to die for - everyone says the bride and groom don't eat at their wedding but we made sure we got our fill! The team went over and above with incredible service, thoughtful touches, checking in on the bridal party and guests - I cannot think of a single thing I'd change. THANK YOU Milestone Team!!!

Milestone events were so great for our wedding. They helped us every step of the way and made our wedding beautiful. The ceremony at North Head has a spectacular view and the reception venue and food was awesome. We were so happy that we picked this venue! We had so many comments from guests on how amazing milestone events was!

The whole team at Milestone events are incredible, my Husband and I just got married over the weekend and everything on the day went perfect! Because of COVID we have had to postpone our wedding from March to September and now January where restrictions were lifted enough for us to go ahead. Not only were they all accomodating with all the changes, they also checked in on our well-being numerous times throughout the year which made us stress less about the whole thing knowing our wedding was in such safe hands. The venue is incredible, the location is breathtaking and the food is to die for. You could not pick a better family to entrust with such a special day. Thank you Miles, Tessa and Jane for everything you do. Love Mr and Mrs Giles xxx

LOVED absolutely everything about Milestone Events – the venues are beautiful (both the ceremony venue and the reception venue), the [family] team is accomodating, flexible, and wonderful to work with, and the food is delicious and better than what you get at most restaurants. Our original wedding was cancelled due to COVID, but Tessa and the team went above and beyond to help us reschedule and ensure that our day was perfect. We wouldn't have changed a thing, and we can't thank them enough. HIGHLY recommend Milestone Events – if we could give them 6 stars, we would. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Miles, Tessa and the team were amazing! No request was too hard for them to accommodate. We changed our dates 3 times and they were so understanding. Our guest could not stop raving about the food, which was delicious. I would highly recommend Milestone Events

Miles, Jane and Tessa were the best. I seriously cannot express how INCREDIBLE they are as a wedding venue. Nothing was too hard for them, the food was AMAZING, the venue was well priced. They took care of everything for us on the day and before, even the centrepieces! I would recommend Milestone Events to everyone I know getting married. My day was stress free - and it was all thanks to Milestone Events.
