Cammeray Waters specializes in creating your dream wedding in the most stunning location. With a fixed hire fee and no hidden costs we offer the flexibility of a DIY wedding and are conveniently located just 60 minutes from Melbourne CBD and 40 minutes from the airport.

Upon entering the driveway to Cammeray Waters, you'll often spot kangaroos in the paddocks, along with kookaburras and king parrots. As dusk falls, you're likely to encounter a wombat, often seen on the golf course or in the gardens near the accommodation rooms. The weatherboard buildings with their red wrought-iron roofs, surrounded by bush, unmistakably signify an iconic Australian country setting. 

Since the 1980s, our venue has been a hub for weddings and events. Our onsite manager, Dee, brings unparalleled expertise and advice to ensure your occasion is unforgettable.

Exclusive use: Sole hire of the venue is guaranteed, with only one wedding per weekend ensuring privacy and creating lasting memories on your special day. Select from a weekend package running from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon, or opt for a day booking with overnight stay. The bridal party enjoys complimentary accommodation and guests can conveniently book their rooms online at a discounted rate specifically set for our wedding bookings.

Accommodation: With the bonus of onsite accommodation available for up to 96 guests, which includes six stunning lakeview family rooms perfect for family with kids or friends wishing to share. 

Afterparty room: Extend the festivities into the late hours in our onsite games room. Challenge your wedding guests to a game of pool or table tennis after the reception and cherish extra moments with family and friends.

Breakfast:  Our hire rate also includes access to our fully equipped commercial kitchen, complete with a walk-in coolroom, dishwasher, and coffee machine. You can also enjoy our spacious dining room for a leisurely breakfast the morning after your wedding, at a time that suits your schedule. Perhaps there's a budding chef in the family who can whip up a feast for everyone, or you can arrange for a local caterer to provide breakfast for all.

Ceremony: Exchange vows in our lakeside rotunda or beneath rustic gum trees, perfect settings for memorable photographs. We include the ceremony set up in the hire price with 50 white chairs, red carpet along with use of our pa system with bluetooth for music.

Reception: Our lakeside marquee, adorned with fairy lights & silk draping offers a large reception area of 20m x 15m for up to 130 guests. Using your own personal style you can decorate as you please. Catering is flexible from food trucks to cocktail parties or formal sit-down dinners. BYO alcohol and choose your caterer, or rely on our recommendations to match your taste and budget. We provide all linens, table & chairs & glassware in the hire costs along with table numbers, card box & easels to ensure you don't have unnecessary costs. Two large fridges are also provided in the marquee to chill your drinks plus a freezer for your ice.

Facilities: Additionally, all bookings include complimentary access to our private nine-hole golf course, fishing in our lakes, mountain bikes and games room.

With a background in hospitality spanning her entire adult life as a chef and manager, Dee offers invaluable experience and expertise to assist and advise you at every step of your wedding planning journey. Drawing on her Irish upbringing, known for hosting unforgettable weddings, Dee is here to ensure your special day is spectacular!
