Whalers Inn was a perfect venue for us as we married on the beach at Horseshoe Bay Pt Elliot. Our guests were treated to an amazing view over Encounter Bay while they had canapes and cocktails on the balcony at sunset whilst waiting for us to arrive. We had the choice of a few different rooms and chose one that suited our needs. The staff were absolutely wonderful, the food was amazing, no one went home hungry that night! Whalers Inn gives you the freedom to create your own look of the room or choose your own venue stylists or they have a wonderful recommended event coordinators available. At no point during the night did I feel we were being 'packed' up as I have felt at many other weddings, we partied on until about 1am. The packages available are very flexible including the drinks package. There is great accommodation just behind Whalers, including many apartment style suits which is great for friends / couples to share. We had quotes from different venues including in Adelaide and Whalers was the BEST value by far!

It was a beautiful place to get married. We were married on a cliff over looking the sea. I was quite dissapointed with their organisation though. We were told we could have beakfast in their restrant the morning after so organised for our families to join us. only to find out they dont do breakfast during the week as we were married on a thursday. There were also a hidden minimum to spend on our wedding which they told me of the week of the wedding. So we had to pay extra to make it up.
